Jenga: maybe we can meet up on the friday evening or sat right before the trip? truth is i tink we just need some simple tools. for spark plug, i have the few tools required. any other parts u reckon we can DIY repair?

Sure thing. I was thinking if we need anything to plug a hole in a tyre? We're tubeless right but if catch a big nail may still need to plug the hole? Do you have anything like that?

CDI is not difficult to replace.

just remove the fuel tank and it is something like a plug & play device.

unplug the old CDI frm the wire connector then plug in the new one + secure it well

Can anyone enlighten me about the effects of changing the CDI? Is it done to enhance performance and if so, are we talking about pick up or speed (or both) and does it require anything else besides exchanging one CDI for another one? See, still a newbie here...:giddy:

This Sat? I really want to go along, but cant make it.

Thx Don for describing the CDI thingy. Hope its as easy as you described. :cheeky:

Can a bike start the engine at below 1k rpm without getting stalled?

never tried before, but i would like to do that if possible.

but i think every traffic light will stall.

We can meet up (at the bridge?) and you can see IRL how it looks like. :) There are some of us going to uncleLim's place this sat for bulbs and battery.

Ben; are you joining us for the Kukup trip on April 6th?

I think if you put rpm too low u'll find yourself revving at every traffic light to avoid stalling, in the end spend more petrol in that way - or, you stall and empty your battery with all the restarts?

Yes, mate & the coffee & drink still on laaaaaaaaaaaaa .............. :cheeky:

I am always ready at the shop - all are welcome this SAT.... after 9.30am :)

Confused now. Is the DIY session on Sunday or Saturday? :giddy:

Anybody in the CBR150 clan have such a tyre repair kit or ever use it? Where to get it and rough cost? Anyone?

May not be able to make this one. Needed to bargain for the April 6th trip. But might drop by shortly if its early afternoon. If its on Saturday (29th), then perhaps easier than Sunday (30th)...

Besides battery I may also need some help checking my box light which is not working:giddy:

Well i will be in this weekend so pls get organised - if u guys come as a group then while i do the battery reconditioning - u can DIY by help each other ....... :)
