Do you guys think that if I go in at around 6+, the shop will still spray for me?

That's because they're like saying only available in the afternoon ?_?

Meet up with the fellow cbr150 forumities, we'll let you test ride :)

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Thing is that if u go in the evening, do you think they can really see properly what they're doing? If u would have to do it yourself, would u do it in daytime or at night with artificial light? Even if they are willing to do, should question if this is the smart thing to do for a quality result... :giddy:

but the lightings over there is quite bright. and i trust their spraying from what i saw last sunday. it looks very uniform and professional.

the only problem it's the drying it part, may quite a very long time.

but i dont like to go in weekends, so pack with so many people and queue is very long HMMS.

somemore like cannot wait already, want to see how it looks like

guys, need some help...im facing some problems leh. my bike suddenly die when i was on the road waiting for the traffic light to change. what seems to be the problem ah? it happen quite a number of time...its like the bike got no power and suddenly die...lucky manage to start it back..if not sux thumb.

Posted
i also went JB yesterday. spent RM$6 on food (catfish, mutton, otah and teh'o-limau-ice), and RM$10 on petrol.

mine cheaper. =P

Considering you prolly went to AGL, our view and company (AG?!!?!?) was somewhat better... a small price to pay

How often do u get the chance to terrorize the Malaysian countryside with 70 over bikes, to ride shoulder to shoulder with bikes 10 times our CC and to muscle out cars from parking spaces?

err.. first thoughts: water problems in your system/carburator (ride through any floods recently?) or time to check your spark plug? Whats your idle rpm?

my guess?

1. idiling too low, at least 1200-1500.

2. spark plug (highly suspicious, if not changed for a while)

3. battery weak, so when generator not charging battery, spark plug die.

do let us know your findings.

easiest way to tell is to spray on paper, let it dry, then go match.

i've tried color matching my red, bought 2 of their closest colors, yet it's not exact. but close. it works for spraying non red items like brake and clutch levers, but if you spray some portion that stands next to the original color, you'll see the difference.

maybe just to add on.

the layer on which u spray the paint on is crucial in determining how well the final color comes out.

e.g. spraying red on black base versus red on white base

hence, testing out by spraying on a piece of paper may or may not work.

very true.

but i have a bad habit of over doing things, remember? if 1 layer still can see undercoat, then flood 2, 3 4, or more layers! =P

surely will have la, force= mass X acceleration.

i only 52kg, that's why FC so high. =P

I see. No wonder your FC so good. Me always ride pillion (can say 90% of the time) and the total weight is more than 3 times your weight. Hahahaha....

After all the things i hve done to my bike, I can get 40kpl when my average speed is 80-90kph. And I only can get 35kpl when my average speed is 100-120kph.

Before I did anything to my bike, nvr count my bike FC. So cant compare with the previous 1. :cheeky:

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

if you have the right tools and know how to remove the wheels, the answer is no.

but that in itself may already be a challenge to some.

Is it a must to remove the wheels b4 spraying? Cant we just use some newspaper and wrape all other near parts which is not going to be sprayed? Its a difficult thing to do though. :)

My idling rpm is at 1500. Spark plug dont think so. Just change couple months ago. Usually I change spark plug at 5000km. Probably the battery weak i guess. Thanks guy. Will try to test ride tomorrow. If the problem arise again, then its time to fork out money. :cheeky:

what happens if you spray on to some part you don't want colored?

the spraying is easy. the removing is the hard part.

I thought there is 1 type of chemical liquid which can be used to remove any kind of paints. Forgot the chemical name though.

Actually I also need to recondition my bat. Coz that time when my bike could not start, i keep using the electric starter till the bat sound like no energy.

Maybe if one of you guys plan to organize a meet up at uncle lim place, i will force myself to go along. :cheeky:

er... thinner?

if you happen to spray on painted parts of the fairing, would you want to use thinner on it? you already mentioned can remove ANY KIND of paint. risky siah...
