Hmm I've been using the battlax for over a year oready and my mileage is more than that, so far nothing wrong ley :? Just changed my sprockets and chain oni...

Current Rides:

FEB 07 -> NOV 08 [CBR 150]

AUG 08 -> AUG 12 [XJR400]

AUG 12 -> ??? [DUCATI MONSTER 696]

Actually mileage plays a part however the key factor should be the no. of trips (theres a term for it however i forgot that term)

 

each time ur tyre get heated up and stick itself to the tarmac, it will cause some wear and tear liao..

 

imagine these 2 senarios:

1. 1000trips X 12km per trip = 12000km mileage

2. 100trips X 120km per trip = 12000km mileage

 

althought the 2 mileage are the same but the 1st situation will require u to change a new set of rubber much faster than the 2nd..

 

Hope u understand what I'm trying to illustrate... =)

wah all the pros here. hehe.. i only just changed mine both front and rear, using bt39 too.. so cant help u with that..

is it BT039SS or BT039?

SS is from japan and more sticky.

 

japan tyres like TT900GP and BT039SS last approximately 15,000KM when used as the rear.

rear tyres tend to wear out faster than the front.

My guess is - i used alot of front braking, so somehow the front gets wear out faster .............. :cheeky:

sporty is very lousy, dun use it unless u have spare cash to play wif

bet the helmet is damn light, how much did you buy it for originally? $800++SGD?

 

yesterday was at regina enquiring about AGV FF helmet.

 

Regina Salesman :: "Brother i tell you what. For you only, i sell this AGV air tech to you at this price, but you don't go around telling other people this price. Normally i sell $500++, today i sell it to you at $400" :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

 

I was like "Haha you sure or not, you sure you're not carroting me?" :sian: :sian: :sian:

 

And I wasn't tempted at that point of time to buy that AGV air tech helmet. And went back SBF to check the postings and pricing.

 

Haha i knew it, if i went around tell people. They'll be laughing at how i become a orange carrot. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

 

1. No 1 was talking about air tech helmet.

2. According to AGV website, AGV S4 looks like a better deal than Air Tech casue of the material.

3. The price should be only $350.

4. Yes, they were selling $500++ maybe 2months ago.

 

They almost makan me for their dinner siol, luckly i didn't buy or else they lagi :D:D:D

 

 

How i wish there's a Retail Selling Price Quoted for every single products in their store.
