Guys hi all.. Just curious arh. CBR 150 is 4 stroke right... Is the FC for this bike good? how much KM/L are u guys getting huh? no need to be specific... is it good enough to be a transport bikes for noobies?

 

 

My friend told me the riding position is tiring... but i duno cos personally i tried a Krr once only.. so don't really know the pros and cons. so any one can enlighten me? TQ!

Hi there, yes its 4T bike. Average FC for most of us should be around 36-40kpl. Some of them even getting 40+kpl. :thumb: :thumb: for daily usage. Good FC with very low maintainance. What else do u want out of a sport bike? I believe this is the best or one of the best sport bike in terms of FC & maintainance. :angel:

 

If u want speed for 2B bikes, go for Mito or RS125. :D Forgot to say, "and u hve lot of money".

 

All sport bikes riding posture almost the same 1. Im travelling around 50km daily & I dont feel tired at all. Sitting in office is much more tiring. LOL

 

When Im 40 yrs old, I should get a bike that ur frend recommend. :cheeky:

ahahah. i see i see.. no la.. cos i just got out of 2stroke bikes.. and my parents finally allow me to get a bike cos the first one was bought w/o their consent. But i still considering wave or cbr.

 

NTUC quote me the same range for cbr 150 and wave.. so i dnot know what to get yet.. and waiting for a good deal. anyone got a cbr to sell? lol

 

will pay in accordance to condition, mileage and age not to mention plus points are the outlooks.

Strange ler, Wave or CBR? They are totally different kind of bikes ler. I thought u r comparing KR or CBR, where both of them are sport bikes.

 

Btw, very less ppl want to let go their CBR coz its a very good bike. So, got to be patient if u want to get 2nd hand CBR. :angel:

hahah true .. but if wanna get new.. the insurace kill otr ard 5 to 6 k like tat. for noobs like me the insurance is 1K over. Cos new bike plus noobies rider sure damn ex one...

I dont think there is a need for u to buy 2nd party insurance, even if u r buying 1st hand CBR. I bought new CBR with 3rd party insurance only, around 300 bucks, I was 23 & P plate. When I renew few mths back, got 10% discount. :)

Hey guys.. Is there anything I should pay attention to for 10k servicing? Other than the standard EO n spark plug.. Just hit 10k on my bike, and wondering whether there's anything else I need to change.

I just bought my cbr ytd ... later today go transfer... ZZZ.. 1.9k silver cbr Fw plate.. paint work abit dull.. but still fine for me:)

opps... haha.. what to do.. silver also.. but paintwork pretty good. mileage about 64K. i service at planet only... recently had the engine check... its in good condition..

on the logcard, model and engine stated is CBR400

anyway, my odometer juz crossed 99,999km 2 days ago.

 

zed: forgot to stop the bike one side and give u a ring to pose for the historical moment in our bday suits as per suggested some time back.

Guys ... i just changed the plug(used 12100 km) wt OWS Iridium. still testing.. :D

 

then, i got vibration a lot at front faring in these days.. I checked all screw n nuts..nothing s wrong... I hated that vibration sounds.. noise for me .. :D

changed the air filter, carb needle, oil filter.. when i go the bike.. try to open throttle.. but when hit 80.. the bike like coughing like no petrol.. go bike shop see.. chaged the 3 item.. all ok... but kena 65 bucks..

 

 

go home i also wash my exhaust alot of carbon.. lol eh... my bike now 61K KM and all still ok.. only the vibration on pillion foot pegs and some part of fairing lor.. washed the bike n fairing and lubed the scrws..

seems like the items replacement did good

but problem is...our bike doesnt really have an oil filter to change....

anybody managed to keep any stickers on yr exhaust end-can w/o melting/burning the sticker??

 

thinking of getting those metallic looking stickers w/ Yoshimura wording and stick on the exhaust end-can

muz do smth to celebrate the clearing of odometer. now need to 'run in' all over again :p

 

zed: any chance u got lobang for heatproof/resistant adhesive or the sort?
