DIY .................. any one ??

my suggestion to this is using the 3M heavy duty double sided tape to stick on to rear under tray, then wire to a switch in the front connected to the battery. job time: 15 minutes.

and there will be people doubting 3M heavy duty double sided tape. all i can say that my rear number plate is stuck on using this tape. after 1+ year, rain + shine, buang and low side, it's still stuck!

me and David took ours at BBDC. your nearby driving centre probably has a similar course. cost: $50 + government profit for a half day course.

David sure had fun. he whacked the hell out of the BBDC bikes.

hey ethan i love ur bike but sorry got no money to pay u.. haha.. unless u can get a bike shop to take mine to pay u, then i pay them in installments.. (which is usually quite high priced for me, so bo hua).. =)

thanks david, for the kind words..

anyway i went to my mech on fri, and they changed to a made in thailand tyre for me, cos they have no more BT liao.. for $75 before government tax.

I couldnt go anywhere anymore, so had to change it lor..

sian.. my tyres are still very new leh. oh yah, the problem was tyre punctured, by a screw stuck in it. there were two holes in total, one had a screw and the other was just a hole.

either way, it was a bad start to my first day of being 26. -.-"

just curious, how much distance do u usually cover a month?

does the difference in petrol cost justify the amt of money u need to topup for a 1st hand cbr150?

Is your bike under COI? and also, try riding abit mroe gentle lor.. cos if u buy new CBR i can easily tel u its gg to be 7K or more. I got a colleage got an FBC plate CBR. 150 7k... when he buy..

Since u NS already.. somemore peanuts pay.. why not dont change bike to add on the burden of yer pocket, but, change the way you are riding.. Cos i believe monthly petrol fees wont be as much as the monthly installments u are paying to bike shops.

Also.. If your Krr monthly petrol is $80 and no more COI, then you chg to CBR.. monthly petrol is 50 bucks, you save 30 bucks, BUT.. COI 150/ month.. so u LL pay about 200 bucks.. end up wasting more $$ neh..

well that is at least what i thinking.. dont flame me.. :dot:

thanks boys, for the nice wishes.

well yeah, my tyre cannot go until so far already lah, so that's why never go LAB to buy tyre and wait to change lor.. i wish i had more time at my disposal, but there were many plans on that day.. haha.. oh well..

i did mention to him also, that i can get japan-made tyres at that price elsewhere, and he said that he knows, but he cant help it cos shops like LAB gets their stuff directly, that's why cheaper, while he orders from someone else (like a middleman) so that's why he has to charge at this price.. *shrug*

No choice if that was the case. Anyway, read from somewhere said that Thailand made tyre wont last longer than Japan made tyre. So bear with it for half a year maybe, then get it changed.
