got rain cover also incase u dont want to carry ur bag inside ur rain coat... so u just lup the rain cover over it... and magnet to the tank. tested during dry weather at my carpark liao...

i thot $75 was expensive cause another bro here later on got a similar looking set of rack (maybe not original monokey rack) at $35. but the comforting thing is that my deal included adjustable alloy holders instead of plastic ones.

 

i have 45litre box on the ride. still ok. the width of the box from the backview still doesnt exceed the width of handlebar. means can clear any gaps between cars that the handlebar can clear.

 

42L is definitely BIG. im sure can easily fit 2 open face helmets... and with extra space still.

yup. a 42litre box can fit 2 open face helmets. but what abt the extra set of raincoat for the pillion, the sunshades, tissue, umbrella, deodarant?

Ya....maybe u can have a 20 litre fuel tank... but i donno our bike can hander the weight and the balance of the bike is a problem ... must have a pro to make it

maybe u can try swap the bulbs.... then if got light up means the other bulb blow liao. use STANLEY bulbs!

if yes, then maybe the wire connectors for the tailight assembly loose liao?

if only specific to front or rear brakes, then likely to be only the brakelight sensor?

i saw cbr125 at a carpark in bukit panjang while having dinner there.

check out the pics. i am quite convinced that we can fit the darn cbr125 header onto our bikes leh~

 

 

 

check out the ignition. it follows the older version of cbr150 rather than the new ones w/ the larger ignition key switch.

lucky its smaller.... cant imagine if u paid 40 and its bigger! but alright lar... xi huan jiu hao. mine is bigger so my OGK pants is permanently in there already.

 

also, the magnetic patch can be removed and stored in the bag as well. and and and............. got rain cover... so when it rains i dont have to carry it. just attach magnetic patch, lup the rain cover over, attach to fuel tank, wear rain coat and pants... off i go!

 

okok lets keep it this way before don or zed starts talking about boxes.

 

hahah ya same mine also.. but mine is smaller, and more squarish looking than yours.....

 

but there is a drawback using these bags on cbr150.. is that when i'm doing low speed manoeuvring, it tends to bump on the horn when i turn the handlebar left and hit the Estart when i turn it right.

hi all,i just recently bought a used cbr 150 FU plate...from a workshop.

i think got some problem with the bike ah...

in the morning,the engine will make sound like tek,tek,tek like that...and sometime even after a 20 mins journey....any idea why?

furthermore,how much to get new coolant and exhaust pipe w/o the end can?

any help is appreciated..thanx and happy chinese new year all

well, usually when get used bike, better send it to your trusted mech to check out the bike.

 

for the tek tek tek is the tensioner.. cheap cheap can DIY.

 

new coolant is ard $25? end can depending on model.. 58 to 68 bucks if i rmb corrctly.

 

 

Dear bros, I just lost my CBR 150 on 27 Jan (1st day of new year) from the carpark at my house in Bedok North. I hope u all can keep a lookout for my beloved bike. The plate number is FW9082L. Itz the stock silver black colour. Thx ppl! Here's a pic of my bike...

what i paid for $450 wasnt a full overhaul.

i would tink probably a half ovehaul?

cause i had the cam chain, tensioner, some plastic piece the tensioner presses on & piston replaced alongside w/ the various gaskets & seals, etc.

 

i tink quite a lot of cbr150 riders (esp those who use it to travel to & fro customs everyday) probably dont spend much of effort to maintain their bikes. gd enough if they even perform normal servicing, not to say to overhaul the bike.

 

to empty all the coolant, i remember a bro here mentioned draining out the coolant via a screw underneath the coolant pump.

 

for myself, i merely pluck out the coolant hose under the radiator and drain out whatever is inside the radiator before topping up again via the radiator cap. wasn't proficient enough + unaware where to locate the coolant drain nut.

 

wah don, u did quite alot on the bike huh.

 

so its cam chain, piston comps, plastic pieces + workmanship = 450? not too bad acty?

and ... i realised i become more throttle happy after using the gloves..

 

is it because i didnt get used to the gloves with me or what? and I'm quite loving my tank bag!
