The outing was a success and i would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in making this day a memorable "farewell" for Derick's CBR.

To Derick, thanks for saving me at Suntec the other day. If not for u, i would've just sat there and cry till next morning. LOL.

Next outing, we sit Derick's lorry. steady bo?!

guys, this was a very well-organised trip, which made it super enjoyable! thanks to those that did all the organising and recce-ing.. love the briefings and 'steady-ness'!

and the ride back to simei was one-of-a-kind. damn far lah! my pillion fell aslp behind and kept knocking her helmet onto mine. grrrr..

i've been making meals and sandwiches for so long, and thinking that i still need to find a job, i suddenly came up with the idea of making simple home-cooked meals and do delivery. and i really mean home-cooked meals with rice, or burgers, sandwiches.. just for pple who wanna get a quick bite.

this is not something which is new or extraordinary, i know, but more of a hobby.

i haven't thought of the finer details yet, but do u think its feasible? seriously? i can prep the meals at night, and deliver in the early hours of the morning and lunch time.. a few of us can do the delivery with our bikes?

just a passing thought since i love to cook and need to find a job anyway.. and since this is like a home-based tiny business, there are no rents to pay and stuff? like a 'if have then do, if dont have then never mind lor' cos after all, we're all still students and holding FT jobs ourselves. It's like a little extra money here and there that's all.

what do u think guys? can this happen? the main idea is to use simple off-the-shelves ingredients and transform them into a nice meal. Like, luncheon meat, burger patties, tuna, ham & cheese for sandwiches for example, we can do them too but in a different way like making them taste like Subway but its home-made instead (I can cook a pretty decent variety of stuffs). And maybe serve them up at forum gatherings for the other groups, morning rush pple, office folks at lunchtime that are lazy to hop out off the office or something? We can have quality ingredients but not costly too, after all, this is not a 'get rich' plan. Just need someone to cook, some folks to 'market' it online with a website or something, keep tabs on the money and deliver..

if u have any suggestions as to whether this can work or not, do let me know. cos i'm not very business-savvy at all. I just wanna get a little pocket money while doing something leisurely that i like.

it's good that you're motivated to think about making some money.

you would not be the first person providing such a service, and as such there is much research to be done into such catering services currently available and their successes and drawbacks.
