Outing: DIY session + BikeAsia 2009

Date: 28th February (Saturday)

Schedule of Events:

10am: meet at Zed's Al Ameen for breakfast

11am: DIY endcan at Zed's motordiam/ bike wash

1pm: Lunch, Bedok (Guest of Honor: Uncle Lim)

3pm: BikeAsia 2009 Singapore Expo

5pm: Home

Ticket prices for BikeAsia: $15 at gate, $10 online, $8 student.

Note:

breakfast is to allow endcan to cool before DIY. please bring change of clothes as it will be a long day, especially with the DIY session. if no student pass, can go borrow any book from National Library and use the receipt to get $8.50 ticket price to BikeAsia.

 

Zed, get me 2tickets pls. Owe u $20, this time I make sure I bring exact cash (no need change). :angel:

 

after DIY ends I'll go pick my GF first. she lives a 10 minutes ride away.

 

So would u guys mind waiting at Zed's place first... cool down a bit while waiting for me? or want to give me a grand escort to pick her up? :sweat:

my gf also in simei. she wants to come along for the bike expo since its so near. i'm still thinking abt how to fit the fetching of her into our time slot.. maybe before lunch? she should be awake by then.

my oil seal.... i not sure is the water pump oil seal or the engine oil seal... the oil seal make my engine oil leak from the overflow...

this kind of part abit more tricky to find in JB leh...

if u talk abt items that are in common with other bikes, especially cubs, then easily can find.

my previous experience: even for sprocket they are using 1 of the cub model's sprocket to fit onto our bike.

i remember seeing some advertisement banners on the forum mainpage featuring helmets at good prices. maybe u can try checking under the advertisers section. the prices are close to wat u can get frm the famous Lim Ah Boy for similar models (if u have a non-discount face like me). :sweat:
