Changed Variator(stock), Rollers(Dr Pulley), Clutch Outer, Drive face, Oil Seal, air filter and EO.

 

BTW, where you get all your cosmetic parts from?

Is it expensive there?

Changed my brake pads, variator, drive pulley, brake rotors (wave type), whole clutch assembly, Daytona after market rollers from Japan and air filter is K&N washable from the USA. brake switches, water pump gasket and lately, the throttle cables. I also use stock parts or OEM if available.

 

Most of the cosmetic parts and spare parts are from Hong Kong. The exhaust system (Wirus Win) is from Japan. The face mask kit is from Day Dreamer in Singapore. The wind deflector panels, I had them fabricated here through a local fiberglass shop.

 

I'm still thinking about ordering from Day Dreamer, the lower body kit for the forza. Maybe next year. Hahaha

Doing ok with my forzie....but.....

Recently i have this problem. When i am riding at higher speed the scoot will jerk once(it kindof feels like engine break or when you change to lower gear).

It didnt last long but it will come and go.

 

I am guessing its either the clutch or the carb. Just guessing, me no expert lah. The mech in a shop told me its the air charger, another mech told me its the clutch.... so i am confused.

 

Any scoot expert, can enlighten me?

not really an expert but based on my pwn experience, likely to be more of a carb prob than a clutch prob cos if clutch prob normally we feel it at the initial stage and not when riding at high speed..... btw forza X got power cut? if have, then u might want to see/observe when it come in.....

 

i suspect is becos insufficent/unstabe petrol flow ratio.....

 

try putting ur idiling to higher abit and test again, see if still got this prob.

Was thinking of getting a Runner's rear hugger/splash guard to fit into my forza, dont know if it will work. Or anyone have any idea if any other hugger can fit or modify to fit our forza. My under seat got flooded everytime i ride in the rain.

 

Ideas anyone?

Had the problem solved. Just to share.

The problem was actually the air intake to the carb and not because of the carb like alot of mech will tell you. They will tell you to change the carb because the float is loose or something and it is very difficult to adjust..... blah blah blah. I dont mind if it cost $50 but the whole carb cost $380++.

 

It will take time to expertly adjust the right intake of air to the carb but with patience it can be done. So next time if you have such problem as mine, do ask the mech to adjust the air intake first. Try out on the expressway not on the compound around the shop.

 

johnsonong8 also had this problem as mine, also solved by adjusting the air intake. BTW, nice talking to you on the phone johnsonong8.

Hi Fozarians.....would like to seek your expert views of the difference between MF06 and MF08?

What I know is only the handle bars...MF06 is plastic (big big piece) handle while MF08 using metal/steel/aluminium naked handle. Not too sure if I'm correct abt this.

 

Am considering to get one, but due to budget constrain, think can only afford a MF06 with COE renewed.

Hope to hear more advice from the experts or guru here

Hi guys... I've just bought a new forza from mah. I used to ride a husqavarna smr 510, but got sick of the constant repairs and hassle of the bike. so when I brought it down to mah and saw they had a new forza for sale, I fell in love with it and snapped it up. Cal it an impulse buy cuz I have zero experience with scooters!

 

So far I'm loving it. 3 times better mileage, a seat that is comfy instead of trying to split my ass in two, and the 24 km ride to work somehow seems faster than with my works motard!

 

The problem is, I can't seem to find any good info on the bike. The user manual is in jap, and there's nothing much online. So please forgive me if I have any queries that I may need help with...cheers everyone!

Oh by the way... The oil change indicator on my bike just lit up @1000km. Does this mean that my run in is complete? Am I supposed to change the oil every 1000km? Does it reset by itself after the oil change? Do I need to pump 98 petrol or is 95 more than enough? Hope someone can help with this info as the manual is practically useless!
