i've tried to go side by side with the new honda civics.... almost identical i would say, almost all the time.

i recall i read somewhere in sbf that the s4 speedo is sensor one and not like those 2b bikes one...

Hmm, if you're travelling up/down slope, will it affect the accuracy of the gps? E.g. If you cross over a mountain, you may have traveled 10.5km but the gps thinks you've traveled 10km only.

i don think so. cos the gps will also tell u the distance to run. if up slow u lose speed the reading on the gps also show drop in speed lor

it depends on how many satellites you are on..

if only 3, your altitude will not be guaged.. if i'm not wrong, you need at least 4 satellites to have you altitude and distance guaged to get a more accurate reading..

S4 readings are somewhat accurate until 160-180kph.. GPS also not necessary be the most accurate device to guage speed..

want the most accurate one? try calling up Guinness World Records and tell them to clock you..

If really wan to test if accurate or not at 180km/hr very easy ma. During TP operation, u see them holding a device on their hand over the over-head bridge. Than blast your S4 to the max. Than one month later or even faster, they will sent u your picture with the most accurate speed readings. :p

yes its by sensor. S4 not using those speedo cables to tell the speed. i would say S4 is bout 85 to 95% accurate.

hey guys

actually i just changed my rear sprocket for my vtec 1 from 45 teeth to 44 teeth.. but my 100kmph still shows 6.5 rpm.. the readings for 44 teeth and 45 teth still shows the same rpm

so i really wonder if speedo really accurate or not..

anyway there was this case when i was doing 140 at NSH, my fren`s spec 1 already 160...

when they doing 180-190 my speedo only showing 160

and my vtec 1 only showed 170 MAX on it`s speedo

so the things i`m asking is if i could had been already doing 190 but my speedo shows a lower speed?

i tried 42t 44t n 45t. 80km/h all at 5k rpm.

so if i using less teeth means that i`m actually faster then the speedo???

is there anyway to correct this prob..

as i don wanna appear on the speed camera...
