where to do i do a value for money servicing?

 

what are the standard packages like?

Normally what are included in the general service?

 

Any reccomendations on where to go?

I recommend Tachyon motor...

Cheap is good but that shouldn't be all we cared about...we need a trusted and skill mech...

but bro other than the normal oil change according to the mileage, what else should i take into account. as in at which point should i pay a visit to the mech to do what servicing other than oil change? remember i also newbie. lol!!

well... new bike usually nothing much to do unless ur bike got defect problem. So far beside full servicing and 1/4 servicing i dont go see my mach. servicing is impt... beside that take note of ur tempreture of ur bike. cooler need to flash when neccessy. Other than that shld be nothing much. Understand ur bike, know wat is ur bike temper. Know how much can a full tank go and etc...

Just bought a CBR600 05 model. Tyres & Chain seem due for change soon.

traffic jam thats the standard temperature. i will also hit that temp when caught in a jam. worse when in the afternoon sun is at its highest. don't know if it'll make a difference if change the coolant though. cheers.

half half - i do every 8000km (change to Full EO), 15000km(full servicing, flash cooler, spark plug, air filter oil filter), 20000km (full service + wash air filter). I service every 5000km, some say never go track 10000km can (i dunno ask davin)

 

Engine ICe doesnt help much maybe 1st 2-3 weeks than after that no diff

hello people! im back..haha... went for a nice holiday in tioman.. lol.. my bike need to do up alot of things lo.. $$$ all gonna fly out of my pocket liao.. hahha..

Hmm...you might want to take not e of these also...

 

Coolant - Normally can last you 1 year or so (I recommend Belray)

Battery - Change yearly

EO - After run in change every 5000km use fully synthetic ( If you go track than might want to change at every 3000km)

Spark Plugs - Change every 20,000km

Valve Clearance - Perform every 24,000Km

Brake Fluid - Bleed every 6months (1 year also can)

Clean Air Filter - Every 6 months (Provide your filter is washable)

 

That should be all....

Can anyone teach me how to remove my front spocket cover? I tried removing it but it just wont come out easily. I'm riding a CBR 08.

Any bros can help me..... After I change to the kr tuned exhaust.... My header there like gt ticking sound... Y ah.... My mechanic n the previous owner told me it's noting... Cuz of the titanium headers..... Den some shop say valve clearance.... But my mileage onli 27000.... Wat should I do.... Help me pls....

 

I happened to look into the repair and service manual for cbr07. The manaul shows how to check if the valve clearance is still ok. If u want to view the manual you can pm me. I'll e maill u the pages.

just the 2 or 3 hex bolts. but the 2 coolant hose is blocking. just find ur way out. i did once open to clean the excess chain wax.

well it really depend which bikeshop u go to and what u change lor.. price range from 200-350.

Urgently need help! I lost my 1 & only key to the bike...

How to go about replacing it? Or the only way is to replace the entire ignition?

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
