for '05, there is black/silver, all-blue, and tri-color (red/blue/silver).

 

you only see black/silver coz the all-blue has existed since '03, and the tri-color looks very captain america. so most buyers buy the black/silver. end-result, this scheme is everywhere. but to confirm, our own hock here owns the tri-color (though the backside changes color at will), and i have also seen 05 model all-blue.

 

in '06, which is near identical-spec, the tri-colour became red/purple/silver but i haven seen it yet.

i want to stay away from jb for the time being, after their mata conduct ops and arrest some of our bikers.

 

granted, those bikers shd not have been testing top speed and wheelie-ing, but its still very fishy to me. i was in KL just a few weeks ago, they have their 'mat rempit' everywhere on the streets doing wheelies, dun even need to ambush, just wait awhile beside the road sure can catch. and surely JB town is a similar scene. yet their mata choose to ambush at an ulu place like gelang petah where our local bikers play to conduct their ops. stupid.

i'm still considering want to change anot.

 

problem is they changing only front tyre, and i run in my tyres swee-swee very soon after buying at PG. its very nicely run-in now, all the way to the sides where i wont hit on local roads. but now change back to fresh fronts.... some more not as if i hit above 250kmh, on road or track, and no reported cases of the rubber peeling with my kind of usage.....

aiyah hock, wat i trying to say was, if kena kopi money at most we not happy, and we all "know" the situation there. but these bikers kena confiscated the bikes and out on bail, one level up already. thats practically cannot see the bike anymore, still must go their court... kaoz... way more serious than the 'simple' kopi money...

i had the same problem with u 2 mths ago, i change battery, and sometimes the engine still cut off. but my case was after i high rev or gear one move out. i try like what shark told me adjust the idling abit higher below 1.3 for the time being i dun have that problem hope it can help you.

Wemt in by 2nd link yesterday nite & got back by 1st link. No other SG bikes at 2nd link about 12mnite cept for the 4 of us..Guess some of us might have heard the news & didn't wanna take the gamble... Anyway going in was fine but on the way back which was about 2 am, we just dropped by the VCD shop. There was a fight between some Malaysians, & i saw one of them chasing the other one with a 10cm knife across the road. Chairs were being thrown about when suddenly a police car screeched in. I thought whoopa... Now we're gonna see some drama as the blinkers lights were also on. But then, one of them gangsters suddenly shouted to 'Sorry, Sir. Just some misunderstanding'. He picked the chairs on the road & cross back to where he was. And the cops switched off their blinker lights & just went about their way. Some things still doesn't change I guess, although in the past few weeks I do notice there are more patrol cars then usual at the busy JB town.

which leads me to one thing i realized.

 

a lot of things 'wrong' over there.... lots of 'no-gahmen' activities when mata not around... but when the mata actually arrive, the people are really scared. thats the one thing there which is one up with what we have here. ppl here not scared of mata anymore, partly coz our mata hands tied by red tape (can punch ppl until teeth break but still not arrested), and partly coz our ppl somehow feel whole world owes them a living...
