No prob for the treat too... Anyway, this comin Tues i gonna install sliders liao... Should be going during lunch hour.... Coz i cant find any other time to go... Monday lunch time i got somethin on...

 

Shop also tell me if i install by Tues, he will charge me $170.... After Wed will be $190... Coz this batch of sliders with brackets by motovation, prices will increase the next batch...

 

C if u can make it, den u gimme a call loh...

at the right speed...right sitting position....and drag from 2nd gear from10k rpm up...u could get the same feel too.:thumb:

With your present sprocket size, you wouldn't have any problem reaching redline. If you can't, get your bike checked by a mech.

the only concern here is... i have clocked 270++km on stock sprocket..

tts not even the rev lite n redline...

but on this current sizing...its even hard to clock 250kmh...rev lite on lieoooooWWWWW...

 

speedo healer would help??

or the fuel line pump thingy muz be check??

I have changed sprocket sizes and no difference in the speed vs rpm was seen b4 and after. Although after the change with the speedohealer disabled, 90km/h seems ridiculously slow.

Wats your rpm at your top speed of 250km/h? If you are redlining and speedo shows 240-250, then one possibility is your clutch slipping. Dun bother checking your fuel pump. If you can acheive redline, its fine. Speedohealer wouldn't help you with your problem, though its a nice thing to have if you changed gearing. Its just to calibrate the speedo.

Wah, I've never clocked 270 on stock sprockets. But I managed a 260 on gear 5 with my (-2 rear sprocs) once at 2nd link. Think it was good enuff... But then again, after the speedo error must be slower than that hor... Hua hua hua... :cheeky:

my sprocket size is 15/44

in my opinion...this size is gd for track days.

gd pick-up....gd midrange....but lose on top end..

 

I personally feel you need a top end at Sepang for our 6rr's (03/04/05/06). Especially the back & front straights... Think Hock would agree with me that we weren't actually able to hit the 250-mark quick enough on the stock sprocs.

 

 

Isn't it Uncle Hock? I dunno la if you actually went 299km/h before but didn't tell me. :faint: :cheeky:
