seems more like a low battery problem... is the cranking like going to die?

hey guys. planning to get a 600cc bike when i get my class 2 soon.

have some queries here for bros, whats the market price of a first hand and 2nd hand cbr600 like?

called shop and check forum its roughly like - 1st hand 20k+/-, 2nd hand 12k +/-

is that correct?

and also, what other 600cc bike out there on the market?

R6, cbr600 are the ones i know of.

any advice/suggestion/help given will be greatly appreciated.

thanks and regards (:

r6 more suitable for track use, cbr is milder. I dun ride above 100kmh so I chose the cbr

if you are very rich you might as well get the best 600, the mv augusta f3

hmm.but my volt meter show 12.1(headlight and engine not running). But once my engine run and HID on it show 13.8.If off my HID it 14.1.Normal right?

edit: it can crank up for a spilt second. It sound like normal then just die off after a spilt second.

volt meter is just a estimate of ur batt and etc.. the best way is take a actual volt meter (i call it voltmeter) that read the batt than u will know for sure ur bike low batt anot.. u can simple just bring to bike shop to let them check

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

If the initial cranking sounds strong then the battery should be normal or maybe just slightly weak base on the voltmeter readings. But as said the radiator should still run even if u kill the engine with the red switch. As for the engine to die off suddenly after starting it could be wirings problems/ loose connection somewhere, plugs or the plug coils. Cant really pin point or give advises without any hands on inspection. So ur best bet is to send it to ur mech.

Try bikewerk or racewerk or unique. I personally only trust this 3 shops.

For bikewerk, u need to wait for a long service time, racewerk depends on how many bike r there, unique depends.

Yamaha RXK (2003-2004)(FB****?)

Aprilia RS125 (2004-2004)(FM2834H)

Honda SP150 (2004-2005)(FR3462P)

Honda CBR400RRN(2005-2007)(FN2935L)

Nissian Latio (2007-2013)(SGU7413C)

Honda CBR600RR5 (2010-2013) (FZ3775U)

Kawasaki Z800 (2014-2018) (FBJ1955L)

Finally a brand new bike!

Anyone been to cbrfairings recently? They seemed to remove 09-10 model from their store...

yeah man. i was shocked to see they removed the 09-10 model. i was damn sian. ended up i had to go to a different website to get my fairings. 200 bucks more expensive. damn. bought from easy fairings and they don't offer the OEM paintwork also.

but still.. i can't wait for my goodies to arrive. LOL!

anyways, you guys know where i can get left headlight for 09 model? FJT out of stock. prolly due to the quake.

Personally for 2nd bikes major problems besides engine, and whether is it an accident bike. My biggest worry is wiring. Its always due to spicing of wires and using those electrical ducts tapes which is the common method most or all shops uses. After some time those tapes becomes sticky and at time bare wires might get exposed hence shorting occurs.

Since u installed HIDS, head start is to check the ballast & light bulb area for loose wires.

If u r free and have the time, open up the fairings and check for all foreign wires. Its a good chance to learn more on ur bike as well.

If I disconnect my battery will the Power Commander lose it's map?

No, all Power Commanders utilize a nonvolatile memory (it does not require constant power to maintain it). The only way a map can be “erased” is to use a computer to load a new one in place of it.

Hey anyone know if i buy a ECM unit, do i need to buy the keys as well? coz my rpm meter not working and is confirmed is ECM faulty.. i check with fjt they say need but i email the US shops online they say no need keys.

ME: Hi i need to know whether it comes with the ignition key or not because as what i know if i change the CDI the key must also come along if not it cannot work because it is computerised already with the keys program together.

cycle-pros:

Your information about the key is incorrect. This unit is tied however to a resistor in the ignition switch. Ypu need 8-9 volts on the pink and silver in the black connector and that is determined by the ignition switch resistor not the key. This unit has been run on three units with different keys.

any one pls enlighten me.. =/

US and UK although same model and year of production is totally different. Their models from US dun have the HISS function unlike our models from UK. No sure abt the meter whether it plays apart on programming the keys cos it has the HISS blinker LED lights. The wire harness might be different too.

Other difference is the hazard lights function and some other minor differences.

appreciate your response .. as what i know the ecm must be syncronise with the hiss key as well becoz it have a micro chip in the key. FJT selling $800+ and the key $30+.
