any1 try this gear ratio setup b4? -1/+3 or -1/+2 , need some feedback about it.

u need a speedohealer if u change to those settings..

not very sure thou.. but ur speedo will give u wrong speed, therefore u need a speeodhealer to get it right.

btw wat brand of sprocket and chain are u looking at ?? care to share, i'm also thinking of changing my sprocket and chain

it will show faster on speedo. but i think the diff not really that much. maybe +5kph only.

acutally you dun have to -1 on the front.

Just +2-3 at the back can already.

 

-1 at the front = +3 at the back

 

Will improve your pick up but lose top speed.

if u looking for longer lasting sprocket. may be u can try ISA sprocket (claim to be 2x long lasting than other sprocket)

I'm ordering the pc v frm there so if anyone wanna piggy bag just let me knw. Shipping through vpost.

erm i think i saw some post regaridng about the PC V giving alot problem.

well gettin a PC III / IV from oversea doesnt make much differ to buy from sg

 

because even with discounted price it will cost abt USD$250-USD$285 and u havent add on shipping cost to singapore.

 

when it reach sg u have to find ppl to install and dyno and tune for u (cost u around $200-$300 + installation fee) in all maybe u do save max up to $50 but it wait and all the trouble and etc.. so it quite unless to buy from oversea unless u have fren that bring it back to sg for u.

 

In sg if i am not wrong, racewerk or hkl have package so no harm asking them.. last i was ask for PC III was abt $500-$550 with dyno and tune for 09 cbr600

I agree with the hassle of buying from overseas, but I do like the satisfaction of searching for stuff and getting the best deals. Overall with the extra cost of labour and shipping, I still get to save about 70 plus bucks. Not a great deal but I could use that amount to buy some other upgrades.

I mean no disrespect to anyone. Neither am I forcing anyone to buy stuff frm overseas. Just some of my thoughts and feelings.
