Juz got myself a cbr6rr..

Anyway here have 2nd hand race parts to let go..

Get back to me ya..

 

Oh yes..I did my running in on the track last sunday..(Now my mileage is 89.5km..heheheh)

I saw my bike for the 1st time last sunday at PG & did my run in at SMSA BRS Race on stock condition..

Bike is great,superb mid-range but at stock top end is lousy..

A chassis so easy to blend in & race hard as the bike is smooth at turns & easy on the throttle respones..

I am so used to slipper clutch that i forgot the CBR is not equipped.

So its still a learning curve for me but i know the CBR will be a great track tool..

Do gimme tips on wat can improve/better the bike ya fellas..hope to learn more from all the Taikow's of CBR here.

hkl they quote me 140 after the dyno and change mineral oil. is that ok?

 

if the price includes dyno run in then acceptable. if it just mineral oil change then its way too expensive.

Just like wat SM said on the previous post even good fully syn oil oso not so expensive. And remember insist using original oil filters.

bloodedtears - define necsassary things that needed to change? personally i think is slider to be add on lor.. other than that after u run in than change ur air filter, brake hose and etc... as i say it really depend on wat the rider wan out of the bike... performance or outlook

 

sky23- i think sg maybe dont have any dealer that sell lower link. If ah duck still have u see if he is still selling them, If not order online if u prefer new. Well after riding for so long than u realise that ur sitting / riding position is not correct? Dont u think is too late!! if ur hight is 160cm and above i thought think u will have major problem riding any cbr even ur model is from 04-11. Of cause 04-06 seat height is higher as compare to 07-11. Do take note that once lower link is install it do feel abit low.. and when u have pillion on it the weight will make the bike lower.. indirectly is heavier (personal thinking).

Ah duck - what is ur average shelf life of ur tires if u only use them for daily riding t/w from work?

btw do u know hor.. the rear hose that u give me the brake fuel really gone.. i am going to bleed it this sat.. haiz..

my height is 174.... i find it abit uncomfortable at times..... like the handle bar is too low...

that is the purpose of a sport bike.. it suppose to be low.. i know a guy who is 185 who is riding a cbr600 too.. and a fren who is abt 180 who is riding a rvf... so u jus have to get used to it..

bloodtears - u can do the cant be bother way.. just whack lor.. run in for new bike need patient so if u cant wait and dyno doesnt really help much than u just have to have the mindset of cant be bother

hey guys, anyone know where can i get tps for cbr600? singapore no stocks. search online cant find. part number for the Throttle position sensor is JT7H. Cbr1000rr is also compatible. As for car Honda Odyyssey can fit also i have tried the fitting it fits well..

shelf life or usage life? if shelf life is 5 years in those so called room temp condition lor.

my tyre usage life see below.

sportmax (oem) only lasted me 8 months, change it at abt 14k

used a 2nd pirelli diablo corsa 3, he used like abt 7 months with maybe abt 11k mileage. i used it like for another 4 months adding another like 6k mileage.

bt003rs 15 months abt 23k mileage.

 

told u its leaking liao. u need to buy those hose clamps. make sure its fully made of stainless steel including the screw.

for wat i noe most ppl buy lowering links cos they wanna have better confidence. can fully flat foot touching the ground or at least without tiptoeing so badly.

my reason using lowering link is cos my wife not used to cbr pillion height when i just bought the bike and the way she mount and dismount bike super violent type.

i so scared i would slip and stationary drop the bike. but now dismantle cos used to it liao.

for ur case no point. u find it uncomfortable at time which is natural cos it a sports bike posture.

not to be crude but either u live with it or get another bike with better or upright posture.

ah duck - i mean is usage life so seem to be like more on how much mliage u r going.Ur bt003 last u quite long ah.. 1.5yr leh... 23k is really a good miliage to have...

tajie is 15 months not 1.5year. 1.5year is 18 months. yah for a sports tyres squeezing out 23k mileage is very worth it. i always tot only those road tyres then can achieve such good mileage. dats y i use back the same one. not forgetting i'm 90% pillioning.

maybe theres better tyres out there but i wont dare taking risk trying out cos its the only 2 rubber that holding u onto the road.
