wah two of u dont "suan" me leh....

 

hock didnt mention abt me grinding the wrong place on boots, get out of lines many times, thigh hold against the tank so tight during cornering, etc...

so much mistakes done within an hour....

 

but it was nonetheless a very exciting experience :lovestruck:

 

for those of u who have not been track yet, its time for you to feel the centrifugal force... :cheeky:

track fun is different from touring or street gun.....:cheeky:

 

ideal equipment...of course...full leather suit,racing boots,full gloves,FF helmet.

 

but...minium needed are armour jacket,jeans +knee guard,glove + FF helmet.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

about my alarm......

 

its starting to piss me off by sounding off for no apparent reason. the neighbors are gonna kick my bike down one day.......

 

the seller suggested might be due to bike cooling down contractions setting off the alarm. while i cant say for certain, indeed it goes off for no apparent reason most frequently after a ride. it still sounds of occasionally in the middle of the night when bike should already be cool, but not as common and besides maybe its a cat or something, so i donno.....

 

i cannot reduce the sensitivity level, coz one level lower i can rock the bike and bounce on the seat and it doesn sound off, unless gentle tap on fairing. my current sensitivity level will sound off if an idiot decide to sit on my bike (his butt landing on my seat sets it off).

 

seller also suggested changing location to somewhere 'cooler', but the only other possible location is under tank, and i already described how successful i was tyring to do that.

 

so i'm gonna see how for another perhaps one or two weeks more; if its still as screwed up, i'm removing it. i cannot say if this problem unique only to the model of alarm i have, or all similar alarms will have this prob with 'hot' bikes like ours.

mechwira - sounds like the location of de alarm unit have to relocate liao.

 

due to underseat exhaust...it common that the pipe will expend/contract.

 

since cant set the sensitive level....then relocate will be more logical lor.:cheeky:

but its inside my fairing! nowhere near my endcan or even my headers! only the magnetic coil is nearby and admittedly thats quite hot too.

 

which means that the only other improved location is under tank..... there realli isn anywhere else.....

 

btw, 25 march is next sat rite, not this sat. petrol run ah?

well....sadly,the single alarm unit cant cover the whole bike lor.

 

put at fairing - tail section not sensitive enough

put at battery area - front fiairing/tank not sensitive

put at under tank - exhaust/fairing not sensitive

 

so...end of day...see which "type" of purpose u want the alarm to "protect" lor.:cheer:

i feel like selling my ERMAX dbl-bubble smoke color windscreen for 600 RR5/6.

 

used for 1mth+,no major scratches,minor i think abit(not sure).

 

bought new at motorworld for S$155.

 

how much would u think it worth now?
