does the type of engine oil ( fully syn or semi syn) affect the running temperature of our bikes...say a class 2 sportbike?

I heard that using semi-syn oil will make the engine run less hotter compared to full-syn...any comments guys?

This is not true. The oil sump temp is mainly related to viscosity, with a thinner oil running lower temps due to less pumping resistance.

But people often mistake a thinner oil for running hotter because they see their bike coolant temp warm up faster. The reason is that thin oil is more efficient at carrying the heat from the oil to the coolant.
