My MFM cannot work even when I disable it. It was downloaded from the web. I had the map of whole Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. If you want I can give you the .img files or I combine and pass you the files. One thing these maps have no auto routing feature.

last I heard Garmin came out with it's original version of 5 countries.

ok sure, I might try your copy of the file and I can pass you what Im using then maybe u wont have the cannot disable issue.

but re-routing is impt, prob can find some with this feature with later updates.

Anyone here fixed slider for their GTR so far? Was offered CGC brand.. But its located somewhere near the engine oil cap. Which will be at my tib/fib (aka shin) when riding.. So was thinking.. If i ever have an accident.. High chances that i may break my shin... Agree? Any other brands to recomman??

There are a few of you keen on ohlins, so its a good time to speak with the technical ppl on setup for $5 for this 2hr session.

Let me know if you guys are interested.

Try the Project D.... They very prompt in their service. But it's a little expensive. US$166

Before I bought my GTR I rented one in the UK last year so I could test out for 3 solid days before buying.

The Kawa agent where I rented advised that Kawasaki actually have a purpose made clear film to stick on the panniers. Needless to say I didn't buy the film but knowing that it's out there it might be worth a search.

Here's a couple of places to start:

(By the way: it only took me half an hour of my 3 day ride to decide I had to get the GTR when came back to SPore)

They will tell you stuff you already know. Unless you are interested in their new products, which is more for the super bikes. Best person to talk to is Joe. He has wealth of experience in tuning the Ohlins. Need not wait for the ang mo to come and teach us.
