there are a couple of guys coming to see my bikes on sat.

 

i thought maybe I can take the last ride with u.

bike leak again after patch...

 

i tink the hole too big already...

went back to the same shop..

kns, the mech anyhow patch..

i tink leaking faster..

 

sianz.. maybe wanna change tire already..

anyway, traveled abt 25 000 km on this pair already..

 

u all know the prices for the tires?

anyone knows where is selling the best price inc installation?

just changed my rear wheel today

then i found out tt my brakes already botak to the max alredy..

haha

 

just changed the rear brakes.

the front brake pads already out of stock..

noticed that the front discs a bit uneven wear..

the outer most 1mm of the disc is thicker than the rest of the disc..

wonders is it the `eat disc` prob..

my front pads are botak until bua the metal base plate a bit le..

while be changing the pads within the week...

 

SAD !!! $$$ fly away...

Don't complain, heavy bike + big power + Big speeds = heavy braking! My front pads worn out before one year.

 

Anyway, does anyone know the new owner of my bike? I still havn't gotten something from him.

After checking out the few big touring bikes available in Singapore....

Seems like this Kawa is the most affordable one with regards to its design and features/gadgets.

 

I am still holding out on the Honda VRF1200 and Yamaha1200Tenere before I decide which of the three bike to get for myself later this year.

Brake pads wear depends on how you brake.......... Mine still 98% brand new...

25,000km for 1 set of tyres is definitely excellant wear.

 

My front is slick after 10,000km.

the stock tires wore out quite fast..

the PR2 is gd..

now my new tires also PR2..

 

it`s really been a long time since we met up after Frenchbiker is gone !

the PR2 is actually using 2cts

2cts = 2 compound technology system...

 

the other tires i was considering included the

Pilot Power 2ct

Peralli Angel ST

Mezler Z6

and BT 016...

 

if i`m not wrong, all of them are 2cts...

just tt most are actually not as mentioned much in the overseas forum as the PR2... so i`ll just stick to conventional 1st..

til other bros give their verdict on the other tires...

 

but go PR2, wont go wrong..

the c14 forum has many riders claiming the bike feels completely different after a PR2 swap.

 

i was just wondering if this was overated.

 

might try something different n go with the A11s.

P.s Back to the wheel,

 

i tink the stock tires are pretty lousy..

fast wear and poor grips...

any change will be significant over the old tires..

 

just a side note. my discs are worn out too, actually kinda surprised too..

each side is almost 0.5 mm worn on each side..

hmmmm... got meet up then i show u all..

but it`s like really kua zhang...

 

stilll tinking should i do a valve clearance at 40 000 km??
