Err..your new bike havent arrive, is it?

Frame sliders is a must for bike with panniers.. Protects alots of things if the trip is dropped. You should get it first. Which i am doing now for my future ducati.

As for the rest, can see that you are riding fjr, just do the same to the rolling good times too.

Had anyone experienced obvious tapping sound from the engine? I'm not sure if yours is the issue as mine but what I've read from the US forum, it is caused by loose nuts at the exhaust headers behind the radiator.

At first, I am not very sure if it is really the cause for my 08 model so I've made an effort to strip off the fairings myself and accessed to the header nuts. Out of the 8 nuts, I've only managed to tighten 6 of them, which are 3 from left and 3 from right, the remaining 2 in the middle are really very hard to reach, only managed to tighten a few turns.

After all the work is done, I tried starting my bike and indeed the sound went off. If anyone find this info useful, I hope it benefits you, if not, just treat this as a normal post and try not to give me bad criticism as I have a weak heart, afraid I can't take it and faint... hahaha... :D :D :D

Thank you for the headup!

Ahhh........The exhaust header nuts issue has finally surfaced in Singapore. I have read about it in US forum few months before. Some of their stories were really scary! So during my 24k servicing, i instructed my mechanics to tighten all the header nuts. ^_^

Ian, do you know any particular sales rep from this website? I want to buy some ST accessories. Wondering if he can find it for me.

Their salesman Kris Yu always contact me on my order. Not too sure whether will he entertain impromptu email. I try to ask them on the gps mounting for ducati. But no reply from them. What do you want to buy? Perhaps i can help?

I know this website too. I have searched all those popular websites selling ST accessories from US and UK. I'm thinking Honda ST also quite common in Taiwan, so I wanted to compare price to see if I get from Taiwan, will it be cheaper.

Not worth spending so much money buying BLACK RUBBER from US or UK leh.

These are the few items I am looking for :-

1. Tank Pad - Single Piece with embossed Honda logo (08P61MCS800)

2. Fairing Deflector Set (08P73MCS800A)

3. Knee Pad Set (08P59MCS800)

4. Fuel Tank Knee Grip (17505MCS315)

5. Mirror Deflector Set (08P72MCS800A)

So far the cheapest quote was USD 586 including shipping from US website.

Thanks!

If you can settle all your needs from one website, should go for it. If not you will be paying alot on shipping fees by buying from different sellers. Have you tried ebay?
