Yes. the power delivery comes after 2.5RPM. Its like sudden surge of power when you throttle. With the files on, you cannot pull the bike throttle at overdrive. The power is only at mid gear range. But without the files, you can gun the throttle for power at every gear. Without the piggyback of a fuel management device, your ecu is no longer able to manage the fuel-air ratio properly. The bike will run very lean. My friend FC become 9 per litres. The bike reserve light came on at 150km. He solved the problem with PCV and all is good now. Running 15-17km per litres. But prayed hard that the PC5 doesnt screw you up during long trip up north.

i`m running 12 km/l in town riding..

all stock condition somemore..

 

i`m running overall very rich..

my exhuast tip`s very black..

 

how nice andrew for the setup..

akra + pcv + flies out..

can it do 300 kmph????

 

sometimes when touring along NSHW, i really feel pissed when the liter bikes overtake me..

Hi all,

 

I recently bought a GTR 1000 95 model. I hope it will be a good buy. currently it is still under 1 month warranty with the bike shop. Any tips to take note on the bike before my warranty date expired?

my advice is to take a long trip...

tour on it..

abuse it..

 

 

if got prob..

less than 1 mth will come out..

 

after tt.. make sure u love it w tender care

haha,

 

thats what i did. after 3 weeks got the Alternator change to a new one, fork seal change, got extended another 1 month warranty.

 

Now feeling to go try the top speed, but want to go johor now to fill the petrol tank full is pain in the ass because the stupid fingerprint system @ malaysia custom has started.

What a day..... My OEM front tire valve decide to call it a day while pumping air at the petrol station this morning before work.... It broke in the middle steam causing some air to leak out, managed to to ride home park the bike and get to work on time. But while riding with 19psi the steering is bloody heavy. Have not check the cause of the breakage yet....................

is yours the L VALVE or the original?a friend of mine also had his original valve broke while pumping air.

It's the extension that I use only to pump the air. I'm still using the original straight valve and it broke. Wonder why didn't the engineers just put the l valve directly? The spare parts in Singapore sucks big time, ask for the valve they say must buy the entire unit.......

might as well change to those short L valve.available @ motor world @ $45 / pair.cheers.
