All Connie's owner who have changed their front fork springs to Ohlins with S******* Motors. Personal advise from me is to take the fork to have it checked by another workshop. Personal incident to me is i spent a total of $890 for just the front fork. $290 is the initial sum i thought. But the parts they spoiled and the workmanship by another shop makes up the rest of the $600. It was a mistake learn and a really big eye opener to the level of skill MT has dropped. I still have photos and parts to prove my point. The way i see the other workshop taking the forks out is 110% more confident when doing it at S******* Motors. PM me if u want more details. Or meet up for coffee and i will bring the parts for you to inspect and see.

Did you leave your bike at the shop? Cos my spring was not done by MT, it was done by his assistance. The assistance is not very efficient better eye ball his every movement. Nowadays MT into supervisory role so you hardly see him touch your bike. That's just my experiences with them.

If your bike is due for yearly inspection, then its not really advisable to remove the cat. Because you will not pass the inspection and it is quite a hassle to change it back to 'CAT' system at your bike shop every year. Then your legal aftermarket exhaust becomes non legal anymore. Might as well change to 2 brothers racing pipe from the beginning instead.

Normally all this type of illegal mod are best done when the bike doesnt require inspection within 3 years.

If you planned to remove the files and cat. In view of removing the files, PCV is a must because the power delivery comes after 2rpm. You find her hunger for power where she is always thirsty and drinks petrol like coca cola.

Coca cola good for the bike it cools down faster..................

Actually not true.. My previous STx also have my cat removed.. They (LTA) wont know unless they cut open ur end can and see. But.. Power wise i dun feel much difference.. But the pipe do sound louder.. Which for some can be a pain in the arse when u are going on long trip (buzzing sound) and returning to ur quiet carpark in the wee hours..

Well, that will have to depend on your mech skill in removing the cat and putting the pipe back. and also luck during your inspection. If you kanna those lao jiao inspectors, gone case. Anyway Our bike not built for sports performance. Meant for touring and relac riding. Exhaust too loud during touring can be a major pain in the arse. I am experiencing it now.

Solowing while you are at it suggest you order some other expendable parts as standby. As shipping will cost more or less the same if you order 1 item or 5 items depending on weight.
