Tp on Scooters

I'm juz wondering, those TP on Scooters, do they go around catching ppl like for Speeding, Tinted Visor, etc...

 

Those in White TP Uniform & Blue Police Uniform. What the diff?

& also TP in PoloTee, off duty izzit

polo tee most prob is cisco sumtimes i think off duty.... those on scooters are those premas summon people 1.... hope they die.... those in blue long sleeve i think is task force 1.... not sure.... white is tp and rov

most of the time are used by female TPs.. but sometime you also see guys riding them.. they are usually deployed to summon illegal parking and stuffs. and yes, they still are able to summon you for whatever illegal stuffs you have, tinted visors, etc etc...

 

polo tees, i have seen them before, but no idea what's their role..

 

white tunic top are the usual TPs and ROVs..

 

long sleeve are ......... i have no idea.. but doubt it's the task force riders..

No Class 2? Possible, coz most of them look barely pass the Legal Age. But i acciedntally pass them a couple of times with my Super Tinted Visor on. Thankz God nothing happen, but juz wanna b Extra Confirm in case the next time i happen 2 bump into them again, i noe wen 2 siam...

The ones in white polo t-shirt riding the scooters are despatch riders.

 

The ones in TP uniform are REAL TP.

 

They can wear blue or white. Up to them.

 

TP only take one riding test and they will be given CLASS 2 license.

 

This is what i gather from my sister who WAS from TP few years ago.

Yup, All motorcycle in SPF are with 'TP' Plate.

Regardless if its a yamaha scootie,Diversion or VFR.

 

Class 2B Scooters are usually used in division are despatch bike for their internal/external daily despatch.

However, those scooter might be activated in operation when raffic conjestion are expected.

lol.. 2 weeks ago got caught by 2 tp riding gilera.. nv on headlight cos try to save the last drip of batt i got till i go change my rectifier and batt.. show them my bike cant move after on headlight they die also wan summon me..

On the subject of whether the white uniformed officers on the scooter can summon you, yes they can. They are afterall TP officers. Reasons as to why they're on the scooter varies. Sometimes they're required to. Like when I did General Election duty the other time there were a couple of TPs on scooters and their primary role was to direct traffic, not to chase down speedsters.

 

TPs wearing blue uniform. They could be from the tiger squad or TP taskforce. Sometimes land division TP officers wear their blue uniforms as well. Again..they're all traffic officers so it doesn't really matter which unit they're from. They can stop you if they feel like it.

 

Lastly, if you spot half-uniform wearing guys on TP scooters, they're most probably NS guys posted to office hr saikang duties. Some of them are despatch riders.

Not sure about that but when I was in NPC not too long ago my TL said that even when we are off-duty and encounter traffic offences, we can head back to the NPC and lodge an NP401. Important details are exact location, make of vehicle, colour of vehicle and of course vehicle registration. I've done that a number of times and each time I check the online outstanding traffic offences page after a week of lodging the NP401, the offences are listed for the respective vehicles that I've summoned.

 

Any offence except speeding and I have a strong feeling it still exists. If we NPC officers are able to do that, then it's pretty obvious that traffic police also have the power to do that although I must say for offences such as not switching on lights or wearing tinted visor, they'll usually stop you but if they don't or can't manage to stop you, they wont pursue the matter. But if you're talking about running away from a TP and managing to do it successful, I'm very sure they've taken your registration number down and you can expect a court letter soon.

Wrong.

 

Even if a private citizen reports a traffic offence, the TP can investigate and summon if needed if there is enough evidence.

 

For a police officer, his version of events can usually be accepted as evidence enough to make a case, unless rebutted.

If you're then you'd know there's such a thing as task force.
