Hi guys, just like to enquire.

 

1. My plate is the plastic kind. I ask one of my motorshop nearby, they say wont pass... must use the aluminium kind.

 

2. I got a single air-horn. Most of my friends say will fail. Some say will pass. My friends S4 got dual horns, went for inspection n pass.

 

3. Under seat LEDs... must take out or not? even if i didnt switch it on?

1.yup,u need to change baq to e aluminium one.i change baq to aluminium one weneva i go for inspection.afta dat,i wl change baq to plastic one.i haf two plates @ home.

 

2.air-horns normally kinda difficult to pass unless the inspector close one eye!

 

3.for ya under-seat leds,dun wori.jus dun switch dem on.no prob.

 

4.all e best for ya inspection,bro!

mine also plastic leh.. for no. plate but i passed weeks ago at ayer rajah STA...

for no. 1, as long as the size met the standard is fine. sticker type also can paste. for no. 2, normally air horn cant pass. ur frens dual horns most likely are not air horns. for no. 3, dun on it and u will be fine.

i went inspection few time liao but din see pple test horn leh.. thot they normally wont bother??

 

number plate as long as can see clearly shd be ok ba.

 

light dun switch on they also wont bother one.. ask ard for inspection ctr known to be more lenient if you really scared lo.. i normally go STA Sin ming..nt sure but heard dun noe kaki bukit or bedok area gotta one one also (hint hint )v "good" hahaa

to clarify, is the horn on yr bike an electromagnetic horn or air horn?

if it is air horn, then wont pass.

if electromagnetic horn, then high possibility can pass.

I have been to inspection dozens of times, but with my previous small bikes la.. coz i never mod them. now S4 i mod a bit only...

 

For the dual airhorn of my frens, his one very the loud like lorry horn ley... still pass.. Oh well.. just try my luck la...

hi... electric "air" horn will pass for sure. the real airhorn will fail for sure! Under seat LEDs can fail IF he finds the switch and switches it on.

oh ok!lolxx..no bro.i dun haf a box on ma bike.the compartment under ma seat is jus nice for me to stuff ma raincoat & tool & canvas..
