how much is it roughly to change dis parts:-

1) wheelset (2nd hand also can)

2) headlight plastics

3) legshield

4) exhaust

5) IU (dis one i noe..$150+)

 

y i'm asking is i'm considering whether it is better to change all de abv n make my cub ride-able agn, or jus sell it off as it is.

i didn't hv time for it...cos i got another bike...n a car.dis was supposed to b a side bike, but my other bike took all de attention (n money)...only had time to warm up de engine once a while.

 

i don hv any emotional attachments to it...so cant say whether i love my cub or not.ok la...i tink will sell it away...hmm....$300...any takers?

as stated in my earlier post....those r de things dat need changing if u wanna make it more presentable.only outlook....engine so far so gd.well....it's a C70...very reliable engine.previous owner had not used de bikes for almost half a yr...yet he started it wif no prob b4 selling it to me.

n once a while i start de bike also no prob starting.de most need 2-3 kicks.

its been awhile since i saw a fellow C70 rider on the road other that Ahpeks and Old indian selling Newspapers. Strangely ,... most Singapore C70 riders i saw are mostly in JB!!!

its a AU plate... many parts still original.. bt exterior condition quite bad.. bt owner say engine is lovely..

 

i rem 2-3 yrs back still see alot of them running ard... bt nowadays..hahaha...think its lesser than a norton or triumph...

wah AU ... dats hard to get....

exterior stuffs you can always get at JB. They are still selling Honda cup parts. Dats where i got my parts too. Main thing is the engine,... if the engine is still in good running condition then its worth getting. Not easy to find C70 with Round headlights in SG. But theyre alot in Malaysia!...

 

btw... does the owner of that AU C70 lives in Telok Blangah?

the Honda Cub comes with a very simple engine. in the worst case scenario, if there are problems with the engine, just do a overhaul which would last for many years to come if taken care properly. im also riding a round headlight

AZ plate C70. its an absolute joy to ride the bike!! you shld get it.
