HELP! will IDAC entertain me?

Will IDAC entertain me to do a survey on my bike after and accident as i want to make a claim from a person who initially wanted to do private settlement? 3 months late. Only did a basic repair as i was very short of cash and thought that the matter will be settled privately but the person failed to pick up all my calls after 1 month of pestering him.

 

Consulted a lawyer and he suggested to get my bike surveyed. But im lost here. How to do survey when it is already very late?

Any proof of private settlement?

You give them a call lah. If not, you can ask bike shops for advice.

Why not just call Idac and ask? Try different location and companies for more opinions.

 

Generally the procedure is to go Idac even if you are not claiming him. It's a cover your backside procedure.

 

I would say it's too late to go.

I tried already. Apparently IDAC is not a universal surveyor. They are not doing for my insurance, AXA. Asked bike shops, say cant because i have repaired before with other workshop. The workshop i went don't do claims.
