there is probably no other solution besides either getting more metal blks welded to yr existing main stand or maybe get a new main stand. a new one will probably cost quite abit taking into consideration the material cost & relevant modifications required (if necessary).

oh well, that's the price to pay for jacking up the rear tail excessively. :cheeky:

the cost is ok cos pay by ringget the problem is adding more metal block it will add weight to yr main stand and it will cause it to jam at a angle need to manually push it and additing of block wun solve the problem unless the base of the metal block got a certain angle to prevent it from falling

getting aftermarket suspension will solve the issue. cost ranging from $60 onwards. good quality ones commonly heard will be Gazi. have also seen those with Yamaha wording on them. not too sure if they are really Yamaha original manufactured though. :cheeky:

gazi ? are they adjustable ? i am looking for adjustable ones.

i am having an aftermarket pair, came with my bike, but then it is TOO HARD!!!

going over the hump at 20-30, the whole back of the bike slam onto the tar and my butt gets freaking a big shock and pain! lol

so i wanna get something good and adjustable =)

gazi n yss are gd.. n yes.. dey are adjustable.. =)

thanks brother!

i see how

might just change them

but after changing my seat back to a stock one instead of the stupid single seater, it seem that the bike can take more shocks leh (cos of the cushion!) LOL

anyway, anyone know the cost of a stock footrest + pillion rest + sidestand ?

next thing to do is to change the racing footrest away to a stock one...
