hey fellow x1 riders,

 

i wanna ask u all sumthink..does ur bike smell like burning smell(chao-ta) after going for 110km/h for quite a distance..sorie for asking this qns..still wondering y mine smell but my fren x1 is normal...

i bought the bike for 1.3k, since now, i had spent 1.7k on repairs/upgrades/accessories...

even my scram seems like a cheaper bike now...

cek the screw at the engine area that is connected to the exhaust...

mine do have buring smell too but tats all rite,i tink the smell is coming from the clutch

it should not backfire so much

the screw ting occurs to me b4 and my bike sounds jus like 125z, super loud and backfire everytime i close throtter abit or fully.

spend around 20 dollars to get it repair, the mechanic mus drill hole at dunnoe where to take out the screws that is stuck inside due to break.

erm, im not sure abt backfire, but i've heard before if ur carb setting isnt good, den backfire will occur, i've been riding for almost 2 years, only 1 or 2 times backfire..

x1 eats engine oil mah... thats y got if u ride at high speed and nv top up the engine oil, the bike is prone to piston jam...

 

i not gonna do anything more to the bike liao.. spent too much on it... selling it away in sep/oct...

 

anyway the only time i had backfire was when the header was not well connected to the engine... haha... u ride fast, close throttle, then the backfiring come liao.

carbs can do setting one, its whether u wan or not.

juz turn a screw at the carburetor there. its to adjust the air intake i think.

Anybd got put stebel magnums on their x1?? if so where do u guys put it at ah??

I jus bought and now i got no clue where to put it, anyway i remove my air box and usin air filter can i put it ard that area there??

My x1 use to go 130-140 but now cannot liao mus go overhaul...haiz

max only 110-120

Den which shop will noe how to installs the horn properly ah?? cos not all the shop noe how to install it

X1 maintainence very cheap what! i whack2 also still can use still in one piece jus tat engine wear off oni...this bike as long change engine oil every month can already wad

 

And i think my milege meter smth wrong...cos my full tank can go up to 500click
