[sold] WTS: 2 Sets of tires 190/55/17 rear and 120/70/17 front profile

Dear All,

 

As mentioned, I have 2 sets of tires for sale, both of which are of the above mentioned profile. Both sets are track tires and have done about 1000km of mileage before having them taken off. Nonetheless, they are still very road worthy and have very meaty centre portions.

 

The first set is Metzler Racetec K2's. As mentioned in my multiple post prior to this, this is an awesome tire. It give very good feel in the front and is very confidence inspiring. Rear tire gives a lot of grip in my opinion and you never seem to run out of contact no matter the angle. This tire is definitely more than enough for your everyday use. I would be letting go this set at $90 cash and carry as a brand new sets goes for about $470 fitted.

 

The second set is the Pirelli SC2 v2. A new tire for 2013, there is really nothing bad to say about the tires. I got immediate improvements in track time just because of the sheer grip and confidence it gives. The tires are communicative and never gives you sudden surprises. Even if there is a slide, you would know that it is coming and would be prepared for it. Overall, my new tire of choice if money if not an issue or if price is competitive. Letting this set go at $130 cash and carry.

 

Point to note, all tires are made this year. Not old stock. So the compound is still at it's operating window.

V2's sold, left k2's...price revised as after closer observation, the condition will last slightly shorter than my usual sales k2's will be going at $95. 2014 tires and a good deal judging a new set is going to be 480 fitted.

Final call for Metzler K2's! Got too many tires and this needs to go. starting another thread for another 2 sets of tires. Great tires at good prices for their condition. Do not miss it!
