top box choices

any of you guys have topbox installed?

i already have the oem panniers on, but sometimes, when making a short trip across the causeway, you will want to remove it, due to the ease..

 

is there a type, such that when the box is removed, and with the brackets on, still look sleek?

i know some of them can be quite odd looking..

the other one i was looking at was ventura, but its like a cruiser-type, no box.. just tie onto the brackets..

I am using SW-Motech top box rack in conjunction with OEM panniers. Look almost non-existent when top box is removed.

hmm.. that looks quite alright... how much does a full set cost? (with top box, base plate , bracket)

 

there is a merchant here , tourfella, that does customized topbox set, but it cost almost 800 bucks for a full.. a tad expensive..
