Was caught making a right turn when the green arrow disappeared. No red light camera situated at the junction but noticed a j eyes over there. Anyone knows what's the purpose of it?

J-eyes, according to LTA website, are to "monitor and verify traffic conditions and execute traffic action plans during traffic incidents and major events".

 

In other words, they are for ensuring traffic is smooth and problem free, not to catch light-beaters. Since they can also pan and zoom, it follows that they may not even be looking in your direction. Nothing to worry about.
