Legal to change headlights?

Sorry, I posted this in the Accessories forum and didn't get any responses. So I'm cross posting it here. Apologies for the duplicate.

Does LTA allow changing the headlights on a motorcycle? Let's say I find the headlights on a bike ugly, and I want to change it to a different shape, say from round to Streetfighter design, which I find more aggressive and nicer.

But a quick check on LTA's website seem to indicate that changing headlights is not allowed. But it specifically mentions HID lights. What if the new lights I'm changing to is not HID, but just regular halogen lights. I only want to change the look of the headlights, not to make it brighter. Is it allowed?
