it depends on personal preference. for me, i think the zx-12 is pricey and slightly heavier than the bikes we are talking about.

Sure you can handle a 12?

consider twice

Posted

not say can or cannot ... that time to get used even a R1 or GSXR 1000

you need time to get used to the bike and learn how to control it

not say jus whack when first time ride

Most ppl crashed their bike on the first day they got their bike

cos they think they are skillful enough to handle it.

Even if they are that skillful, all bikes behave differently and takes time to adapt to it. Ride safely

On the first day when u get your keys to your favourite superbike, go easy on the throttle and don't bend too low during cornering. Just a piece of advice for all. ;)

No harsh braking and cornering for the first 300km of the new tyres

unless you like the 'buang' feeling

Its only a piece of Warning!

hehheh the "buang" feeling is always painful. Especially when u land on your hands and u rub against the road. U can see your skin peeling halfway and the blood oozing out from the lacerations and cuts. Gross! The elbows, knees and hands are always prone to cuts after "buanging".

actually, the european bikes are not really suited for Singapore's tropical climate.....

Jap bikes still perform the best.... amd easier to maintain....take for example, the valve clearance for:

1. Ducati => 5,000km

2. Most Jap Bikes => 25,000km

This is just one....what about the expensive spare parts? Just got my screen for my ducati in....wait long long and pay high high..... that's what its all about......

No doubt the designs are nice....but in practical terms, not so practical..... but the 916SPS....... NICE...... I still want one though.....

valve clearance is 5000km, not 20000km?

My Dream Car, see who wants to cut my lane and tail-gate me......
