Rov fined me!Help pls!

Hi bro just kanna fined by ROV at the simlim there when i nv pass thru ERP use short cut instead.shld be total $400 + 6point but lucky he good say $200 cos i NSF.anyway to either appeal to lower the amount or wavied?since this is my 1st time.i know im stupid . anyway regretted ba.he said just wait for letter

please wait for your offence letter to arrived n comfirm....the officer can be nice cos its a professional approach to the public....but wen it comes to actual summoning..diff story...personal experience hehe

if u appeal, u need to come out with good reasons.. and why they should let u go.. blah blah..

 

i think if u appeal first time, normally should be easy to get waived.. refer this sub forum for GOOD appeal letter "template"

Take this as a lesson learned. Why save a few bucks and kena a few hundred later on? Is it that worthed it?

 

I say there's no point appealing, you were caught red handed. You were already lucky that he gave you a $200 fine instead. Pay up and never do it again.

He's not been nice... Its just that u mistaken his intention.

 

There is no $400 for first timer who evade ERP... trust me, cuz I have evaded it twice and caught twice. First time is $200 and 2nd time $500, joking or no joking... 3rd time? I'm waiting for someone to tell me what will happen.

 

And for appealing, its no chance in hell... Even I knew insider contact [high position somemore] in LTA, its a futile attempt. I am sorry to be the one to break your bubble but you can try if you want and I wish you luck. And at that time when I attempt this stunt, I was still a student, student pass throw out also no use... Not to mention NSF.

Chances are very slim.... but look at it this way, divide up the cost with the number of times you went thru without getting caught and its just you paying back the govt one shot instead of over time.
