is it ok for small bikes like SP to ride on lane 1? because I was travelling on PIE few months ago around 3am and there was no traffic, TP WRX tailgated me keep high beaming me, i was wondering why he did that since the whole road is empty.

 

Then i switched lane and he sort of signalled me not to stay in lane 1

 

At 3 am in the morning, it is not wise to be on lane one.

 

My reason being:

 

You can be fast but you won't know if some drunk idiot is even faster.

 

Since there is no traffic, you can still go fast on slower lanes (not obstructions).

 

At this kind of timing, drivers tend to go faster than usual, some of them rushing home to sleep, you will never know if that driver had notice you.

 

Be safe, ride with caution.

i strongly agree!!! at those hours, all the drunk god appear and start to dream themselve as F1 racer. Anyway hope this kind of people died from accident to increase the insurance premium.

the best way imo is let him overtake if he wants to. he will then feel good abt himself being able to shrug off a small pest. then irritate him by overtaking him, riding slow (not to road hogging extent) then play2 with your brake light. it works everytime. then when he overtake u again and stare at you, you stare at him back like you're driving a 14-wheeler and he's just riding a bicycle.

 

sorry la but at least i never do anything vulgar or cause road hazard but at the same thing u get what im trying to say that is dont be irritating on the road can? hah

 

what if he runs u over like a cockroach? there are many taxi drivers charged with road rage before, won't be surprised to encounter a few myself.

just now i was riding along orchard road at lane one. the other lane was jammed(i not sure due to wad) and suddenly a taxi just turned out in front of me and it was so near that i e brake immediately and my pillion was f***king me hard behind my a55. in he end i lan lan let him pass cos he taxi wad. wad to do? gotta pity em tht they have to make a living too. to them time is money. luckily i wasn't riding fast.

Why road empty you still wanna stay in lane 1?

Well reason is TP car can only speed or overtake at Lane 1 by the rules unless there are heavy traffic, they can also use Lane 2.

If u notice,do u ever see a speeding TP car overtake a vehicle on the 3rd or 4th lane? unless they are on patrol then they will be travelling slow.

Once on call,they will have to speed and eventhough road is empty they MUST use Lane 1..

 

Same goes for TP bikes..but with a little allowance.they can overtake on Lane 2 on empty roads. BUT,they are NOT ALLOWED to ride in-between vehicles at all times..can overtake only. Exceptions apply of course..

For me im getting some kind of phobia ridng behind, in front, right or left of taxi.. Many times almost......

 

I tink these drivers should be educate with correct driving without endangering the lives of other drivers or riders...

 

At the same time.. the law should cum in to prevent accidents involving taxis from happening...

Ok, here's one to show how weird some taxi drivers cud be, especially this one in particular. But i wasn't riding though. I was in a hurry and seeing that my bus doesn't look like showing up, I went away from the bus stop and saw a cab approaching on the other side of the road. I flagged anyway and he took me after cutting 4 lanes. Once inside, i kena f**ked left, right, center for flagging him and making him cut double white line. He even asked me who will pay the penalty if he kena caught. Bloody hell, i screw him upside-down and told him who ask him to stop for me if he already knew that he will be committing an offence. He drove for a while slowly still emphasizing that I shud have seen the double-white line and move ahead. After at a trafic red light in front, I opened the door and walked off.....(can hear him still swearing) He lucky i nvr report.......

 

lolx..if i kena like this i will also F him upside down + inside out...And call to complain abt him....

 

My friend ever complain till the driver's vocational license kena suspended.

impossible... no laws will be able to prevent that, except ban them on the rd.

 

then there are also bikers who anyhow ride, squeeze here and there, bag car mirrors nvr stop, there must also be a law for preventing hitting car mirrors.

 

and tp where got no squeeze traffic. if got monetary award for showing clips of tp squeezing, many will participate ah...

 

since tp catch ppl who broke the traffic law and fine them, there shd be a corresponding law which pays motorists for catching tps who flout the laws... money goes to charity la...
