Finally managed to find this thread !

 

Inspection due in July, just received letter...

 

1) my 2nd hand phantom, the "highbeam" switch will on the headlight while the "lowbeam" switches off the headlight, is this considered illegal? i also dunno why the previous owner go arrange like this...

 

2) my insurance, roadtax and inspection all expires on July 2nd exactly, so planning to renew insurance in mid June, then go AMK JTC to inspect and renew roadtax together. Can i confirm if this will work?

Not sure bout your headlights, but insurance you should be able to do the renewal up to three months ahead of due date...

If your insurance covers the date of inspection then there's no need to renew. Then again if it doesn't cover the inspection date then you can't even ride there to inspect in the first place...

Hey , i just received letter from insurance agency to renew , it also stated to allow 5 days procssing time then go apply for next year road tax, so i think should renew insurance then go renew road tax.

 

btw, for those interested, first year Income insurance p-plate was $500, 2nd year is $430 after 10% NCD and 7% GST.:dot:

 

still very ex :(

you can ask them via email for clarification...

 

as far as I know, it is legal... but for safety concerns its not recommended...

get something that you can switch on and off while you ride... so that you can on / off it when as and when you like... anyway it is legal in malaysia :cheeky:

hmmm... racing footrest on a phantom...? no idea... it would probably be uncomfortable on a phantom... maybe you try asking in the cubs forums...? :cheers:

crap.. just received a letter on inspection FOr December this year.. Abit Early for the letter yea. LTA getting too excited to earn our $$$???

 

 

hopefully a bulletheadlight with no Low Beam can pass The test =)
