Wanted to service my super4 do valve clearance and service my brakes. Clifford quote me 200 bucks for valve clearance alone :cry: was so shocked. i thought 80 bucks can do liao.... but he told me might need to replace the shims and other things.... money down the drain.... :weep: :cry:

$80 is service carb and tunning... :thumb:

Might be doing my valve clearance with him also... The $80 is for labour + O-rings only. Shims and others are excluded. :smile: $200 I believe is just a rough estimation? :confused:

juz got my carb service and tune at K&T last tuesday... now the carb seems like hay wire liao... the idling is jumping like mad... and alway back fire when i start my bike... wah kao wats wrong leh... :mad:

go back to k&t.. clifford will gladly solve ur problem..

i went there on tuesday... he juz give me a explanation and nv even check my bike... so disappointing. :nono:

Perrin..... Valve clearance and service carb tuning is diff...

VC involves in opening the top part of your engine.. sometime... pp refer it as Top overhaul.... openign of the top part market rate is ard 200..... so its normal...

 

Servicing Carb market rate is $80

I did my VC for my FR Vtec before.... so.... jus to let u know.. u are not being "cut carrot" ...

what did he say was your problem?

 

Clifford is extremely tied up with work after the last long weekend....but he is definitely glad to check your bike and help out on your problem....no worries man.....
