What is the coreect way of holding our brake levers?

To all scooter riders, what is the correct way of holding our brake levers?

For conventional bikes, the right foot is always at the brake pedal, so their response time to e-braking is always faster, right?

For scooters, how do you usually ride?

1. Both right and left hand (maybe not all fingers but at least 1 or 2 fingers) always at the brake levers.

2. Only left or only right hand at brake levers.

3. None at all...only when need to brake then press brake levers.

I know there are no hard rules about this..just like to know what are your preferences and why?

Left middle and index finger always on left lever in traffic.

Filtering in traffic jam,add right index finger on right lever

Little or no traffic, no fingers on lever

This one i am a expert, is just like squeezing nei nei.

Squeeze too hard very pain, squeeze too little no feeling, best is to use progressing squeezing.

Depend on bike brake type too, drum or disc, or UBS/CBS-brake.

Rear bake better at lower speed and front brake better at higher speed.

Apply front and back bake using squeezing nei nei tactic for best braking distance. (Depend on road condition)

I always use sudden half squeezing for better reaction brake. (sudden Full squeeze and you will fly)

Defensive riding course I attended taught to use 3 fingers for braking. I put fingers on level during heavy traffic. No fingers during light traffic. Fingers also on level when approaching junctions.
