Can I ask arh ... something about the rear shock absorber of my bike ..

 

The website defines spring preload to be = "Preload" (or "preload length") is the distance the spring is compressed from its free length as it's installed with the suspension fully extended.

 

So for example, when i increase the spring preload by tightening the adjuster nut at the shock absorber, means the shock absorber is more 'compressed'?

Lessons:

 

1) Dont panic. Panic make you cannot use brain

2) Dont dream on the road :faint: ...

3) Look at where you're going and your own bike ... dont peep at others one :dot:

firstly.. why referred to the website? since all people's weight and preference is diff.. haha..

2nd.. if you tighten.. if means it will "jump" back faster.. imagine you r riding fast now.. den a hole in front.. didn't manage to siam.. go in and out of the hole.. jump back.. you fly off.. bike continue infront.. so.. best is dun anyhow adjust... and wat if you over tighten and spoil the whole thing? worse.. :sian:

:cheeky: - relax kor kor ... not going to anyhow adjust mah - haha just asking about something i came across when reading the service manual

 

Today the drive home from town was sibei exciting :cheeky: - but of course my sister drive, brother co-driver, and i back seat passenger ... we manage to siam an accident on the CTE going SLE :faint: ... almost bang into a mercedes taxi backside - because a white car, 3 cars in front of the merc, suddenly break :sian: ... poor 2nd car, that car still got baby inside lah, the boot like dont have liao ... :(

 

haiz ... fortunately or unfortunately, when my sister break, our car skidded because road very wet after rain ... then still cant stop in time, die die have to eat into the left lane to stop ... if not sure bang the in front taxi ... :faint: - my poor brother :cheeky: - if at that time got a truck on the left lane arh ... :faint::faint::faint:

 

oh well ... you know they say, da nan bu si, bi you hou fu (if you dont die during this crisis, surely good luck will follow) :angel:

But i needa rest now.. i got a splitting hangover and already went to hug the porcelain god twice already.... too much beer last night.
