Morning guys and (1) gal, just came back from morning circuit revision and learnt something new... so share with you all. Its called the "standby throttle free play".

 

Means when you hold the throttle, you hold it at the end of the free play, I.E. turn throttle until no more looseness, so that you won't be surprised when turning throttle eh how come no power yet..... Ensure smoother riding!!

And i would like to congratulate myself for achieving greatness on the CTE during this morning peak hour ... the bangla lorry was so slow until i stall behind him , well of course partly due to my failure to down gear/ change right lane (but newbie rider should keep left mah .. )

Hahaha... SSDC bike all chui and detuned one. They try to do things that the bike can last for many years. thats why last time i always try to adjust this and that before my session or test.

 

Things like clutch biting point and throttle cable. But ok la your way works well too. I got questioned and ask not to do adjustment then bo bian use your method also hahahha....

try to stay in the correct gear next time. Cos being in a higher gear at low RPM could be dangerous.

high gear slow speed = no engine brake... but then again yours 2 stroke..... sooooooooooo... take care when engine braking.

You will be traveling at non power band. Which you will not get much response when you throttle. But as for 2 stroke should be ok. But hmmmmm to me i just feel dangerous riding this way personally. Cos when i ride this way i tend to be abit scared. Too much rolling speed.

regarding the throttle, u can ask mech to cancel off the free play for ur own bike too.
