you going cruiser all the way? not trying out other classes of bikes like tourer/street/naked bikes? i confirm will not be riding cruiser kind of bikes for 2A and above. the riding position ride long very sian. sometimes tempted to sleep when very sleepy.

this is where you are sala... who say stock phantoms only uncle ride? mine also mostly stock. i not uncle. i just don see the point of spending and modding a 2b bike where i use the money to buy a 2A or 2 bike then mod it.

 

i rather buy an evo than buy a lancer then mod it to look like an evo. rather be an evo than an evo wannabe. haha. just my point of view.

jyea, i believe in riding chopper for life.. samirians are mainly made up of chopper riders, im one of em, so ima chopper rider, for good.

2b cant get much so i got a TA, 2a wld be a shadow / steed, 2 wld be hd-fatboy / hd-883 / fury 1.3 or some othr bigger chopper..

i used t ride nsr sp, dont like it.. th tank is in my groins way whn i break nd stuff..

given a sports bike i guess id die much earlier due t my cornering..

i rode a gsxr600 befor, th position isnt t my liking..

 

for my carpark's stock ta200, ive seen th riders thts why i say those are uncle's bike..

not in general but in reality, those at my carpark belong t uncles. lol..

dont forget suzuki boulevard haha... but i find 2a choppers seems to be pretty long and big, might find it harder to park... might wana get a super4 for 2a if i got enuff cash... or even better, a drz hehe... if not mayb stay with my ta

nono, boulevard is not in my list, i dont like th engine sound.

technically, so far those big choppers ive rode befor, ard carpark nd all.. parking, cornering isnt a problem except th weight. in th sense of, low speed turning, cause im physically very small.. T-T

i might be getting a scrambler for 2a as an extra bike t play with.. =D

Recently, I encountered a few problems on my bike.

 

Namely:

 

1) Bike tends to die during heavy rain. It's like spluttering and gasping for breath. I suppose it's the spark plug cap for the solution?

 

2) When I clutch in and change gears from 6th to 1st when stopping at stop light, I get this buzzing sound when i change from 2nd to 1st gear. Sometimes, I catch false neutral and get some really buzzing sensation from the gear lever. Any idea how can I fix this?

 

3) My bike's carb tuning is screwed. It's very revvy and powerful for acceleration but the top speed has suffered greatly. Can the mechanic do something about this?

1) perhaps your idling is too low. rainy days make th surrounding cold, worsening th situation. (i suppose)

 

2) if its th same prob as mine, it'll be too high speed cant kick t gear 1 smoothly, slowed down t ard 40 or lower, it shdnt be a problem. OR it cld be th gear shifter's problem (too low)

 

3) no idea.
