Enquiry about sub rider insurance

I just passed my 2B TP test today.

 

Planning to sub rider my friend's Honda SP150.

He got his 2B licence 1 and a half years ago.

 

He paid $1400 for insurance under MSIG for the first year.

His current insurance is about $900 under NTUC.

 

We're the same age, 21 this september.

 

How much do I have to pay?

About 1400 or do i just top up from 900 to reach ~1400?

AFAIK, sub rider, add name should be very cheap stuffs. But since you are still so young, it could be different. Best is to get him to check with NTUC.

Insurance will be quoted based on the younger/experience rider.Since you have just passed then most likely the insurance will shoot up to $1400+/-

Yes. Ur friend will faint when see his insurance bill. Better u don't sub or top his difference for him
