hey guys i just got a ybr but the prev owner didn leave me the IU unit. how much u think is to get and install the thing? and where?

150 for a new unit.. for installation you can DIY or get a bikeshop to do.. just have to pay labour fees...

new one is $150 excluding installation and GST...

 

but i believe there is option to get second hand ones... check out at your friendly bikeshops...

I would suggest to purchase a Brand new unit as I believe it comes with a 5yrs warranty...

 

With 2nd hand units... how much could you save? Unless it's cost peanuts... ha..ha.ha....

Where do i go to get a new IU unit? Ah Chong told me need to go to Vicom to get?

 

Also, is there a need to bring my old IU unit as well? Ah Chong told me Vicom may take back the old one. Anyone here able to explain to me what is needed to be done? my first time. hahaha..

 

Mine got ripped out of my bike after my crash and is quite badly damaged. =X

just proceed to vicom, go to the section where they test the IU, request to install new IU. Make the payment and they will install and test the new IU for you.

My IU unit is still under warranty but its the old model. Wondering if i could get it replace to the new model for free. Is it possible?
