Im changing it this sat at my block...using Maxima

 

For any coolant and anytime you are changing coolant, we recommend a simple solution of distilled water and white distilled vinegar, both available at your local grocery store. ( tk fr Engine ICE )

 

1. Mix the water/vinegar at 50/50

 

2. Fill system with the solution

 

3. Run engine until warm

 

4. Let cool

 

5. Drain

 

6. Run clear water through to rinse out vinegar.

 

7. Fill with coolant of choice.

 

 

 

This is the same as cleaning your coffee maker. The vinegar is acidic enough to clean out and contaminants and residual coolants, yet it won’t harm your seals and gaskets.

Always make sure that when u r changing the coolant, the coolant has to be cooled beforehand to a temp of ard 15 deg C.

 

Best to leave it in the fridge a few hours b4 changing it.

By cooling it in the fridge, the low temps help to retain its molecules together and prevent further vibrations. The hydrogen bonds are stronger this way too.

 

This will prevent early decomposition of the coolant, thus it can be used for a longer period. So the next time u step into a bikeshop, do remind the owners to keep the unsold coolant in a fridge.

u might wanna check out this shop at ang mo kio industrial park 1, located beside nan wah motor.. its a bike spray shop.. a malay mechanic using coolant meant for mercedes n bmw on my super 4.. costs bout 40.. its the best i"ve ever use.. went to cambodia n back.. stuck in slow moving traffic at bangkok and no overheating occurs.. survived the sisophon(150km long dirt highway) .. u can view the pictures on friendster [email protected]

Mircon full system (header) too low and alway hit the hump, that why i quickly sell at low price $920. If keep on hit on the 4-1 joining part, slowly it will bend and when raining day will collect water inside the header. I try to apply sealer but no use...

yup, it's one of my main reasons to change to Yoshi too.. but nevertheless the performance of this Full System surpasses Yoshi by quite a lot..

 

 

back to topic, FYI, my temp is at 90oC while travelling on expressway at night with EngineIce..
