How a brake pump works ?

Ever wondered why the brake oil do not leak out ?

How come the rubber seals can seal the oil so effectively even under high pressure ?

look up the pics for inspiration

u wan smooth den u go by doing racing method cluth in drop gear and blow ur throttle and release cluth in dat way u wont suffer high engine brake and smoother ride... if u wan to get engine brake smooth dat will have to depend on ur biting point control...

it depends on if its a real brembo or fake brembo... (no pun intended)...

authentic brembo parts should have a proper part# for you to refer to and buy accordingly...

best way is actually, as usual, visit a bike shop... take the brake pad out and they find same model for you...

not so much of an advice...

Hi, I had a wave for abt 4-5 yrs which is FU plate. I got an query abt the front brake. I found out that I am able to fully depress the brake and is very 'soft' when depressing to the max. This is unusual as I need to fully depress the brake in order to stop the bike. Is it the brake pump is defective? How much to change the brake pump if so and any reliable bike shop to recommend and how much is the price? Thanks

since your bike is 4-5 years old...

3 things to check...

1. Brake pads... (are they thinning out?)

2. Brake Fluid.. (probably need to bleed the brakes with new brake fluid)

3. Brake Hoses... (unlikely but no harm checking...)

Thanks for the advice. I had checked the brake pad and still thick. For the brake fluid, the level is high. Brake hose....hmmmdunno how to check. So will bleeding the brake hose with new fluid will solve the prob? If so, then can really save $$ as no need to change the pump.
