Very good piece of kit. Typically chain life will at least double, if set up rite. Frees you from lubing duties, which is a pita on the side stand.

Double injectors are not necessary, unless you're a heavy tourer.

Think it goes for $170+ new with installation.

Definitely worth the investment for me.

wow. nv know there such a thing. haha

but where is it fix onto?

fixed to your bike lor... the container hidden in the bike with tube running to your chain.. it's connected in a way that it will only operate when your bike is running.. the faster your bike run, more oil will flow..

IMHO, this is a must have for all bike with chain driven. The auto lube via the engine vacuum will 1 - prolong the chain & sproket life by AT LEAST 50% more (or some even up to 100% more). 2 - manually lube the chain is the thing of the past, means gone were the days of the hassle. 3 - transferable to your next bike, means its kindof one time investement.

Do your own maths, it should pays for itself

I got mine fitted for $165 in April 2006. Until now, I have not changed my chain at all, and my chain and sprockets are still in great condition.

Chain driven systems are meant to have continuous lubrication, as such the chain life is prolonged.

Highly recommended for bikes 400cc and above...

Tks everyone for ur feedback. I decided to get one. Seem is a worthwhile investment. Hope it ll benefit other who just came to know bout it:angel:

Between anybody self install it on a FZ6 07?? The instruction given by the website for the RMV seem confusing......:giddy:

ANybody got pictures where u unstall the RMV (the container holding the lubricant)...tks:thumb:

See if your sprocket has sharpened teeth... if it does, then it's time to change. Some sprocket teeth are also worn out sideways in the direction of the chain pull. Just changing the chain alone will result in more uneven wear and weird sounds coming from the misaligned sprocket teeth.

how to refill? and how long does it last for each salvo of oil. intending to get one for my S4. will be there be an even of over leaking and result in oily side stands and things like that. furthermore, could there be a situation where the needle that feeds the oil to the chain is stuck? is there further servicing required too? sorry for the lor sor Qns. getting one soon

been using it since dec.. had changed my spockets and chain in Feb, haven tighten it yet till now.. 7months of usage without tightening.. it lubes my chain daily without fail..

I've been using the same bottle of oil that came with the kit.. just about to finish it only.. but i had switched to normal EO during my touring trip..

IMO, best to buy and install at Motoworld.. mine was installed by the plump mech with gold hair.. zero problems since first.. forgot about the chain wax/lube you needa spray every now and then..
