Hi, I would like to have some feedback on the Kawa Versys, performance, fc, height, general handling and so forth.

 

Any versys owner out there can provide soome info appreciatd.

Called Dili and he said they have sold 2 (or is it 3?) Versys.Rite now dili has the black mostly.They r gonna bring in the orange and silver.Luv the orange.The Dili guy says they only brought in a handful becoz of a hi demand in Europe and 2nd reason i think is to 'test market' here.maybe becoz bikers here r wary of the aftersales service of Kawa bikes in general.

Type versys in Google and u'll find reviews abt it .It's a great 'all-rounder'.MCN tested it amongst Fazer 600,Vstrom 650 and Ducati multistrada 600.They chose the Versys.Owners seem to luv the parallel twin engine and riding comfort.u can watch vids of it on YouTube.There's also a Versys forum.Go check it out

it's one amazing bike !

recently went to fraser's hill and there's a rider with a black kawasaki versys. looks great with 1 fantastic tubular frame. it's a cross between street and offroad/motard.

it's 19 litres and it'll bring u close to 300km.

great performance for street n offroad aswell.

my buddy got one , good bike comes with ABS fully adjustable shocks and usd fork ... solid !! loois is selling for 17.5 otr

I'm riding a silver versys. Just got back from KL trip with dintigger, very smooth at 150-160 kmh at NS highway. Excellent for singapore traffic. Very good torque. During run-in i get 25km per litre. Travel at 120kmh and once awhile blip to 140mkh, i get about 21-23km per litre. Bike is very nimble, just point where you want to go and it will turn.

 

 

Wind protection can be better, Givi has better windshield for the bike. But i like some wind.

Great! a review from an owner.me been reading up (a lot!) abt the versys.read the forum.USA slowly bring ithem in.they lurrvve it.excellent fuel mileage.u went with dintigger on his spec 3 rite? can give a 1 to 1 comparo?

congrats on making that decision believe the hype..it's dat good.read the versys forum.praises and praises for the bike.(and it's cheaper than a TDM )

Actually can, SW Motech makes side frame for boxes, Hepco and Becker does both top box and side panniers as do Givi. Kawa has option for top box.

I have fitted a Hepco becker top box on my versys. They have Hepco side boxes ready stock for Versys.

Hee hee.rilek rilek.yeah they one of a kind.think they playing by ear.bring in models that sell.not much demand,can delay abit.they can do that coz they r the only kawa distro.

about the distro ... damm ... BS already gave loois the delivery date for all the new modelsand even some are already here like the Spec-Revo CB400... HL also have their new models cept the one they refuse to like Tenere XT660 if they bring in the XT660 i think i will get it too... so if you see allthe distro brought in their new models liao cept for bleeding ES ...slow like hell one..how can get Kawa bike market share up when they make the potential buyers wait forever!! even the duke 1098 was delivered quite fast after announcement .... KAwa should change distro ..ES too slow

My 19ltrs tank bring me 400km and more. Hit 400km i go JB pump. During run-in i ride ard 90kmh, i get abt 450km.

booked my Versys at Loois already. mr lee said ES oni brought in 2 so i booked and hopefully i'll geyt color of my choice cos he says can't promise me wat color i'll be getting. if all goes well shld be by month's end or early april. adiriot, that's some impressive FC for the versys dude - have u tried it on any fire roads or lil more adventurous off road riding? if my stock wears out i'll be trying out the MT60 Corsas hehe. if the Versys is a fun bike as they say it is then Kawa may have come out with a sleeper hit like Suzuki did with the V-strom

I never tried riding offroad with it. I already dropped my bike while parking :cry: :cry: . My side fairing got crack a bit. If i go offroad finish la my bike.... heheh. I love her, dun wan to bring her offroad.
