At 8k in mileage i change out to RK as the org DID chain o ring rubber is all over the front spocket cover.

U mean ur chain's o rings start breaking and falling out?

My org chain lasted abt 23k before i notice the few mini kinks along the chain and the loud noise it generates.

No missing 'O' ring or rollers but knew some V riders experienced what michael_25 described not once but several times despite after having their chain replaced.

 

Could be a batch problem with a certain Brand or model...heard D.I.D is one of them.

Shall be monitoring mine chain closely.

 

Anyway just landed a 6 mth old Orange 2012 KTM 990 SMT with 4k mileage c/w full touring accessories less tank bag & performance exhaust.

 

Will be taking her up 3NCR instead of the V.

Despite all the oily on the chain the rubber O ring still fall off.

Now using RK and not having this problem.

About the beak, no i'm not the owner. I'm just fascinated by it. Costs rm650 for a set. Bloody expensive for some fibre job.

Looks good in photo. But when seen with my own eyes... It just feels odd and reinforced my thought that it didnt bloody worth its rm650 price tag. But nonetheless, it made a versys look unique if done correctly. Thats all.

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate.
