Stumbled on this site accidentally from a Google search. I'm actually a Versys owner in Nova Scotia, Canada. Good to see the Versys is alive and well in Singapore too. Just wanted to stop by and say hello. If any of you have not found it there is a great site for Versys info at http://www.kawasakiversys.com. You can also download the service manual in PDF format there free of charge.

Gents,

Can anyone advice me who is the authorized dealer for Kawasaki bikes in Singapore?

I only know Evershine is the distributor.

I’m looking for the Versys 1000 in the Brownish color.

Cheers to all!

Loois Motor, M1, ASP, Bike Production and many many more.....

You can walk in and find out what they can offer, most likely price should be quite the same except for loan packages.

Fusionjaz you must be a damn lucky guy cos alot of bad things could have happen.

I think we can drawn some lesson from this and plan our trip better.

If in doubt always change your tyres if they are near to the worn limit and may not last the entire journey.

If your tyres are new, you will definately enjoy your riding trip much more(rate of investment).

What the point of taking the worn tyre to the limit on your riding trip and have new tyres in Singapore.

Penny Wise Pound Foolish, No offence intended.

Our life is definately worth more than a pair of tyres.

I only discover it during the last league at Genting. I agree with you I was just pure lucky. This is no guts and glory kind of business, should have replaced the tyres before the trip. I Mis-judge the rate of wear. Lesson learn for this trip.

Anyway these are my new rubber.

Hmm into 200km with the new tyres. I am loving it.

Metzeler has adopted a different technology to provide 2 different grip profile.

Instead of the common 2 compound rubber ( harder rubber at the centre, softer by the sides ), Metzeler apply different tension on the steel braided to give 2 different grip ( same objectives met ).

I can feel the grip is very consistent while I take the corner. I am waiting to see the wear rate and wear consistency of the tyre.
